MAJOR CORRECTION: Apologies tamers! I completely misread the Gokumon, Sagomon, Cho-Hakkaimon and Sanzomon when writing this video.
These cards can only digi-xros with ONE other component - not all three. Meaning you are playing them all for a cost of 5 at minimum. Which means you return the single yellow card back to your hand when the Digimon leaves the battle area, and with Shakamon you'd basically play out a guaranteed Sanzomon and then one other source.
That is a major error on my part and I apologize for that! But my statement in that it topped in JP still holds.

Frankly, these decks are a blast.
Aquatic is easily becoming the game’s equivalent to pale moon from Cardfight vanguard. And, in bt18, we will be getting a new Lanamon and Calmaramon that give the deck a searcher and a floodgate bouncer. The ancientmermaimon could also be nice for aegis decks.
The Journey to the west deck is an odd one but a fun one. I’d go with a red base to make use of cards like br14 Koromon, bt15 Muchomon and pyro ball to cause some damage.
The deck also has a lot of level 6 ace potential so we’re not sleeping on that. Since Sanzomon and Gokuwmon were allies in hunters, I know bt19 is most likely a manga set, but it would be nice to give this deck something.

The 'Journey to the West' decks that did best in Japan were running EX2 Gigimon, P-041 Guilmon, and Guilmon X for a mix of draw power, chip damage and floodgate removal. Alongside a few Fire Ball for more draw power, or floodgate removal.
With some of the newest spoilers I'm pretty hyped for it. I've been playing a Jumbo variant so that's another deck I've been having fun with.

Xiangpengmon has some good effects. It would be cool to see if a good aquatic deck could be formed.
Aegisdramon is going to be fantastic!

The Xiangpengmon combo is really appealing, since it can be done with MegaSeadramon too, and it can be 3 swings if you want to repeat it next turn, or 4 swings when going for game.
Yep! I think one thing I like more about Megaseadramon is that it provides removal.
Cant level 5s only only xros for -2 because they are name/name/name not Name x Name x Name?

He's such a nice guy, but no one remembers that detail other than remembering that he's Bulma's ex.
