Gatomon got 2 megas because when it appeared first in the Vpet the mega level didnt existed. Gatomon could evolve into either angewomon or magnadramon, later magnadramon was turned into a mega

The use of GigaSeadramon works with how the original Adventure Agumon wanted to be a Dark Master. As GigaSea is the evolution of the Dark Master Metal Seadramon.
For Greymon’s knowledge evolution, there is actually one ultimate level Digimon that combines dragon/dinosaur elements with insect elements: Dinobeemon. Yes, it’s heavily associated with Digimon 02 and is also usually considered a fusion but it just works so perfectly for this scenario and then you can have it digivolve to Grankuwagamon or Grandiskuwagamon for the mega
Yeah it could work but... not nearly as well as you think. The fact that it's usually considered a fusion is because it LOOKS like a typical fusion. Like you can obviously see the Stingmon and ExVeemon features in the whole thing so it doesn't really work all that well as an ultimate from Greymon. Maybe a Courage ultimate for Kabuterimon as he does have his exoskeleton change color, but for Greymon it just doesn't fit as easily. Plus he's trying to keep the dragon elements of Greymon even in the Megas, so GranKuwagamon and GrandisKuwagamon wouldn't work as they're a full bug and humanoid bug respectively. No dragon or dinosaur elements to speak of.

Of course, this does unfortunately mean giving up on the bug elements. Alternatively, Tyrantkabuterimon could also work as a mega, even though it’s just a bug, its head definitely looks kinda like the head of a dragon or dinosaur of some kind.

Like Growlmon evolving with each crest and such! That could be fun! 3. I think that Regalacusmon could be a great Mega for that Reliability line. The body type is closer to WarGreymon, it still has Draconic/Dinosaur elements in the same way MegaSeadramon does, and it doesn’t have that more metallic element that isn’t present in the Gomamon line. For that last part it could be argued that Submarimon adds the metallic element, but I think Regalacusmon is cool for how it leans more towards Plesiomon

I've been thinking about the Zodiac themed Digimon on and off for a while now. And this technically does tie into the video's content, seeing as Saggitariusmon is a thing. The Digimon based on the Chinese Zodiac (which actually does have some cultural variants) are called the Devas and are tied to the Sovereigns; and I think it could be interesting to see some of those cultural variants turned into Alternate/Backup Devas in a future video. Though, admittedly, Karn and crew would have to sift through a lot of material to get to the sources they need. I can provide a jumping off point for that; the Year of the Rabbit is actually the Year of the Cat in Vietnam, and the Year of the Dragon (which we are currently in) is actually the Year of the Naga in Thailand; I've heard the Tiger be alternated with a Lion but I'm not sure where that distinction ties into culturally (presumably some part of China), but I don't really know about the rest of the Zodiac in that regard. As for the Greek Zodiac, we already have Saggitariusmon, who has shown up in a few places since he was introduced into the franchise. But the rest of the Greek Zodiac is still absent, we don't even have name for what a group based on them would be called to give us some idea of a direction. Although, presumably, given the Greek Zodiac is a thing, and the Elysium server of the Digital world is also presumably Greek themed, chances are they would be there and tied the Olympus 12, much like how the Devas are tied to the Sovereigns. But still leaves a few questions. Most notably? What would the group be called? What would the rest of the Greek Zodiac themed Digimon be like? Who would they predominantly serve? And of course, how would their theming tie into who it is that they serve?

I like RiseGreymon as a pre-evo for BlitzGreymon. They don't really embody the crest of knowledge all that well, but they do feel like a really good stepping stone between Greymon and BlitzGreymon.

Love: the ultimate could be your old fave Butenmon; their attacks all reference the sun, which fits both the fire element of love AND Greymon generally, but repacked into birds. The mega, I'm not sure...Zhuqiaomon would be kinda fun! The Butenmon armor could form that jet pack thing on their back. Plus, we'd have LITERAL evolution that way lol: dinosaurs into birds! Kinda cute. Reliability: Marinchimairamon to Regalecusmon looks kinda villainous, but would could work well, imho. Although, while we're using villains, MarinChimairamon to Leviamon could be pretty sweet too. Opposite the usual Greymon megas, which tend to get smaller, Reliability's megas tend to be huge. Hmm, maybe Leviamon after all because I can see a world where Regalecusmon is a TENTOmon Reliability mega (maybe from Anomalocarimon?) Or Qinglongmon maybe? He did create the crests of light and hope so it feels apropos to me for that to be the mega of one or the other. Speaking of ... Light: Okay, the mega has to be ShineGreymon if it isn't Qinglong, right? CanoWeissmon could work as the ultimate, but other than that I have no ideas for level five lol. Yeah, I immediately thought of Toropiamon. Perhaps the single best choice out there. (And I like going into Gaiomon from there). And I think getting to BlitzGreymon through Knowledge could focus on the high tech side of things (and you know, it takes knowledge to engineer weaponry). I *was* going to vote for Alterous Mode to get there - but let me pitch an alternative: Cyberdramon. The colors feel like a nice mix of the two AtlurKabuterimon colors. But also - I just learned about Cyberdramon X-Antibody - look at that weird guy. *That* is a perfect way to get a bit of bug (or alien) into a Greymon family for Knowledge, and still lead into BlitzGreymon.

I could see how you could realistically write this into the show. Imagine back in the original show you had agumon's line who we're all used to, then tai gets captured or incapacitated so cant use his crest. Matt and agumon team to rescue him (and idk, gabumon and the gang are somewhere else at the time), then when the battle gets tough, matt whips out his crest and uses it with agumon and you get the new evo line
This actually brings to mind an idea I had for a digimon gimick like this. Using someone elses [insert season's gimick evolution item] lets you access a different Ultimate level, but you can only access your own one's Mega.
I've always wondered about that concept, and those lines would fit Taichi's Greaymon very well, but I wonderedhow wouldthat be like, using the "Greymon family" extended as well. Great content.
This concept has so much potential! I really like all of your choices, but wanted to provide an alternative for the Knowledge level 5 since you seemed most unsure about that one. What I propose for the Knowledge flavored Greyson ultimate, is to use Triceromon. It’s had ties to both Fire and Earth, and I seem to remember them being particularly good at grounding out and withstanding Electricity really well. They also have had a Vermilion Red variant before that could after absorbing or taking a lot of electrical hits potentially trigger the evolution to Blitzgreymon.
I like the idea of so many of these being -dramon variants since The Crest of Courage is all about FACING fears to conquer them, and dragons are universally a strong symbolic form of fear to conquer.
I really like this concept. I love how you included the wargreymon variants. I thought aeroveedramon and ulforce would be interesting love evos as a nod to zeromaru.
Love the D-Brigade digimon here. Funnily enough, Pteranomon, who is love armor evolution, could easily be tied with Cargodramon. Knowledge with Groundramon and Breakdramon is amazing. Togemon will be challenging, but interesting.
If you do continue this series, some of these are gonna be harder than others such as Ikkakumon's and Kabuterimon's as there are only so many applicable sea mammal and insect digimon lol.

i feel like Hydramon is a perfect mega for the sincerity evo because it combines the plant based elements of the sincerity crest, which for this hypothetical makes more sense than trying to wrap in all of the themes of sincerity as a whole
Ahh yes, the iconic qualities of the crest of Love; fire, passion, skies, freedom, and _the military._ Jokes aside, I do particularly love the Sincerity choice, Toropiamon is such a GREAT Greymon evolution, and I am so inclined to love the Light picks you made because I love armored Digimon and knight Digimon and all that stuff, so Maildramon is a pretty cool Digimon to me and I _looooove_ VictoryGreymon and wish we saw him more, and I think Maildramon is a great Ultimate for him. Definitely something to think about, and I look forward to seeing future videos in this series (and for you to somehow find an excuse to put Plesiomon into one of Gomamon's lines, as is your wont)!
This vibe for me feels like a what if greymon was the only partner digimon, and it would reflect how the different ways the kids connect with greymon to give them a unique form

One evolution line i really like so that we can include bug features into knoledge evo line is: Greymon to gigadramon to tyrantkabuterimon. Tyrantkabuterimon is the only bug with dragon-like elements. And gigadramon works well as an intermediate evolution with its purplish colour and bodyshape.

I *was* going to vote for Alterous Mode to get there - but let me pitch an alternative: Cyberdramon. The colors feel like a nice mix of the two AtlurKabuterimon colors.
But also - I just learned about Cyberdramon X-Antibody - look at that weird guy. *That* is a perfect way to get a bit of bug (or alien) into a Greymon family for Knowledge, and still lead into BlitzGreymon.

I could see how you could realistically write this into the show. Imagine back in the original show you had agumon's line who we're all used to, then tai gets captured or incapacitated so cant use his crest. Matt and agumon team to rescue him (and idk, gabumon and the gang are somewhere else at the time), then when the battle gets tough, matt whips out his crest and uses it with agumon and you get the new evo line

This actually brings to mind an idea I had for a digimon gimick like this. Using someone elses [insert season's gimick evolution item] lets you access a different Ultimate level, but you can only access your own one's Mega.

I've always wondered about that concept, and those lines would fit Taichi's Greaymon very well, but I wonderedhow wouldthat be like, using the "Greymon family" extended as well. Great content.
This concept has so much potential! I really like all of your choices, but wanted to provide an alternative for the Knowledge level 5 since you seemed most unsure about that one. What I propose for the Knowledge flavored Greyson ultimate, is to use Triceromon. It’s had ties to both Fire and Earth, and I seem to remember them being particularly good at grounding out and withstanding Electricity really well. They also have had a Vermilion Red variant before that could after absorbing or taking a lot of electrical hits potentially trigger the evolution to Blitzgreymon.
Great idea, especially with all the variants out there. Looking forward to the rest, especially Angemon's version!
Before you even said it, I was thinking of Toropiamon for the Crest of Sincerity! So I think it works perfect!

I like the idea of so many of these being -dramon variants since The Crest of Courage is all about FACING fears to conquer them, and dragons are universally a strong symbolic form of fear to conquer.

Love the D-Brigade digimon here. Funnily enough, Pteranomon, who is love armor evolution, could easily be tied with Cargodramon.
Knowledge with Groundramon and Breakdramon is amazing.
Togemon will be challenging, but interesting.

@@Karn_EX Hey at least then you can finally give Gomamon Plesiomon for either Courage or Light's Mega, Courage because it is dinosaur-aligned or Light because it is very "pure" in capturing Gomamon's essence lol.
i feel like Hydramon is a perfect mega for the sincerity evo because it combines the plant based elements of the sincerity crest, which for this hypothetical makes more sense than trying to wrap in all of the themes of sincerity as a whole
I hope the other adventure cast gets this treatment this is a fun idea.

Jokes aside, I do particularly love the Sincerity choice, Toropiamon is such a GREAT Greymon evolution, and I am so inclined to love the Light picks you made because I love armored Digimon and knight Digimon and all that stuff, so Maildramon is a pretty cool Digimon to me and I _looooove_ VictoryGreymon and wish we saw him more, and I think Maildramon is a great Ultimate for him. Definitely something to think about, and I look forward to seeing future videos in this series (and for you to somehow find an excuse to put Plesiomon into one of Gomamon's lines, as is your wont)!

This vibe for me feels like a what if greymon was the only partner digimon, and it would reflect how the different ways the kids connect with greymon to give them a unique form

One evolution line i really like so that we can include bug features into knoledge evo line is:
Greymon to gigadramon to tyrantkabuterimon.
Tyrantkabuterimon is the only bug with dragon-like elements. And gigadramon works well as an intermediate evolution with its purplish colour and bodyshape.
A team of all those new Greymon megas would be so cool
