I had a heart parrot I got from someone getting out of the hobby . He got so big he could no longer swim unless i was feeding . Went out of town for a weekend and came back and he had gotten stuck between the rocks and glass and died . Poor fella had it rough . Definitely do not support the heart parrots it’s just not humane to purposely disable them .
Couple of things. Dyed Parrots are shameful as are the Heart shaped which is a fish that had its tail cut off while small. But the mini parrots are just deformed convict cichlids not parrots (although they can hybrdis).
the heart ones are not a type. they are a parrot cichlid with the tail cut off. plz dont support buying heart parrots. the tattooed and coloured ones are injected with dye which is a cruel practise involving removing the slime coat and subjecting the poor fish to huge amounts of stress

They make the hearts by cutting their tails off so it's not surprising it had difficulty swimming.
Heart shaped shouldn’t be bought or supported. They have their tails cut off to make that shape.
