Becoming a Mormon Missionary

- Last week we said goodbye to my brother Michael for 2 years. It was one of the hardest things i've ever done. On the day we took him to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, he showed us what kind of person he really is. What an INCREDIBLE young man! Anyone who has ever said goodbye to a loved one knows what we felt that day. Now he is in God's Hands. Please watch and enjoy.

sheesh this was a tear jerker!!! i miss this mike so much!! he's such a good guy. The german people are the LUCKIEST to have him...

What a beautiful family! I loved this video and found myself crying along with the family. It is now Wednesday, November 9, 2016..Elder Evans has been on his mission for over a year. I wish him much success on his mission...that chocolate looked so delicious...here in Australia we have so much delicious chocolate too...

Exactly!
When he is on his mission, will he teach people that Joseph Smith dictated the Book of Mormon by looking at a stolen rock in his hat and that he didn't even use the 'gold plates"? Will he teach them that Joseph Smith's 'translation' of the Egyptian funerary scrolls are the laughingstock of non-Mormon Egyptian scholars? Will he teach his investigators that Joseph Smith had 34 "wives", several in their teens, and many already married women? That those 'marriages' were not legal yet still gave him conjugal rights with those women, but didn't give them ANY legal claim on him? That he deceived his legal wife Emma countless times, as well as deceiving his people and the world regarding his practice of polygamy and polyandry? Is HE even aware of those things?
I KNOW
I hope they understand that MANY people don't want to join.
I am a bornagain Christian and I find all this very interesting.
Unfortunately, I find some of doctrine as unbiblical.
