The one build cheat that blew my mind when I learned of it was the disableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt ( On/Off) it lets things not be constrained to the grid and it’s great for Placing odd shaped bedside tables like my favorite one the crab pot one lol. Also yes I’d love a build tips video!

Aww thank you so much! Sometimes I do go overboard with the patterns but then I go back in and tone it down. CASt can be overwhelming sometimes but I do my best to strike a good balance 💚

I'm so terrible at building starters. When I was making worlds, I was decreasing lot value in CAW to actually have starters in my worlds, lol.

I'm not so fan of neutral palette, but I like it here. Exterior is even more nice. I like natural woody vibe it gives me. I could be placed in forest or in mountains or any other lushy area and will compose into environment perfectly.
Pro-tip for small budgets! The default wall covering on the foundation pieces is something ridiculous like $10 or something, replace *all* the interior wall coverings with free to save a bundle on your foundation! Just think about one single foundation tile - 4 exterior faces, 4 *interior* faces... OMG that's $80 just for one foundation square! Plus I think the foundation itself is like $4. Anyway, great way to save on a budget.
- Design tips?? Yes!! Your designs really are gorgeous! (and this was, of course, no exception!)

I always forget about those pesky foundation pieces!
I thought it may be because of my tester Sims, but I wasn't quiet sure, because when I placed the house from my library, my testers weren't on the lot.
It's a mystery! 🤷♀

How did you remove that portion of the roof at 0:22?
You can use the sledge hammer to delete the wall portion of the roof or you can use the wall tool to delete it by holding control I think
