Thank you very much for the video. I am flling my I-485 by myself and I have a question, not sure if you can help me with it. I already entry to USA with advance parole. I have TPS and married with a Permanent resident. I already have 20 years in this country and i need to know what I should answer in Part 8 Q:16. If i ever work in the US without autorizacion. I did because i been reporting my taxes since i came to this country. So its not a problem if i mark YES?

      Hello, @ginagonzalez8477,
It is crucial to answer all of the questions truthfully. In family-based adjustment of status cases, having worked unlawfully is not a ground of inadmissibility, so answering “Yes” to that question is not a disqualification. In employment-based adjustment of status cases, answering “Yes” to that question would create an impediment to approval, and consulting with an attorney would be important.

Can a pending asylum seeker who entered unlawfully, apply for emergency parole ?

      Hello,
Asylum applicants may be able to request parole, and even emergency parole. However, if your case is pending before the immigration court, then departing the USA can result in a finding that you “self-deported.” Please confirm with your attorney to ensure that departing on parole will not jeopardize your case!
