Regarding the fabric, I just purchased some fabric this morning! If I would have known about how soft and beautiful the Bizet linen is I would have added to my Melanated Fabrics order. Darn it! Lol I may need to revisit the website tonight. 💕
Great review! I have made 4 versions of this pattern. One with Melanated fabrics's: Picasso Poplin Floral. They are a pleasure to wear. My only complaint is that the sleeve tend to be snug for large size women or maybe it's only me. I am going to make it one more time sleeveless for fall. Thank you, for the memo jacket idea!

Great review! You answered most of my questions before I could ask. I am a beginner sewer and was wondering if I could use a flannel material with this pattern? We are coming into Fall/Winter months and I figure by the time I finish it will be winter. LOL!
This has enough ease in the hip that I cut based on my shoulder/bust which is a 14. If it’s a fitted garment I grade from a 14 at the top and a 16 at the bottom.

Mimi I love it. However I have a question. I wear a medical pump at my waist. I would need to leave an opening in the side seams to accommodate the strap for my pump. If I do make this where should I mark the opening? At the natural waistline mark or take a measurement then mark? Thanks
Well this specific pattern leaves an opening at the side seam at the natural waist for the tie to go through and out of on the sides so I would keep that same opening. ❤️
