    I once saw an afro Mexican woman singing our old hymns from the south where she migrated from to escape American persecution. She didn’t speak a lick of English though, but the song had been passed down through her family for generations. Idk it was just so incredible to hear her sing it in our accent, in English, yet she didn’t speak the language.

      You are a descendant from the ancient 12 Tribes of the Israelites that God scattered across the world and mainly settled most of the Northern Kingdom on this side before the Europeans set foot in the Western Hemisphere. I didn't believe this at first until i watched a documentary on the hidden archeological history found in Mexico, Central and South America. I know Mexico is a mixed ethno nation and I know the descendants of the Spaniards are still pretty much the upper class and ruling Mexico. I always make a distinction between them and other Mexicans people that are my brothers and sisters from the 12 tribes. Shalom..

      @@Rodrilechan Keep believing that lie LOL!!! Here's a fact for you. All so called Black people don't come from Sub Sahara Africa. Many of the slaves imported to America from the Atlantic Slave trade did not orginate from the places where they were found in West Africa. Many of them migrated from Jerusalem to Yeman and Africa in 70AD after the Roman Army destroyed Jerusalem. The12 Tribes are black and brown people mainly fouund in Africa, and were put on slaves ship later in their history and scatterd across the world and sold into slavery. Some remnants of israelites are still in Africa lke the Lemba People. Look it up. The bible states towards the last days before Jesus the Christ's returns they (Israelites) will remember their heritage. The bible also states when the 12 tribes of Israel return to land of Israel they will have servants and slaves. They will rule over their former oppressors and will be safe in their land at peace. Those things hasn't happended yet and it proves people like the Afro Mexicans, Blacks in the Western Hemisphere and Blacks in places like India & Pakistan (The Siddis) All fit the curses listed in Deuteronomy 28:15-68 There's also too much history being revealed that was hidden about this very topic. And even the Ashkenazi people in Israel have said they are not bloodline descendants from the 12 Tribes of Israel. You better go do some research. Cambridge, Duke, Harvard, Princeton and Yale Univerisites have very old documents and research literature supporting this soon to be known truth. But we know some people do not want this revealed becasue it has severe ramifications. Eitherway God is revealing this truth to his people that hear his voice. Good day... Shalom...

      Brazil does not hold the largest Asian population outside of Asia. Not sure where you pulled that outlandish notion from. There are more Asians in the United States than Brazil for starters, 19 to 1. I traveled through Brazil and barely saw any Asians. There are significantly more in California for starters with a greater diversity of Asians. You're confused. Brazil holds the largest Japanese population outside of Japan. Japanese does not represent all of Asia.

    Proud to have come from Afro-Mexicans. Beautiful people. My original ancestors were most likely Africans that were brought to Guerrero. They intermarried with Asians that were brought to Acapulco, Guerrero in the Manila Galleons. After that, they moved to Mexican states like Michoacán, Jalisco, and Guanajuato and intermarried again but this time with the Spaniard and Native population. I used to think I was like the typical Xicano that is only a Spaniard/Native mix. Turns out I'm part black, 1/3rd Portuguese, plus every race imaginable.

      One of my uncle's former employees was Guatemalan, but I didn't know until I heard her speaking Spanish to one of the Dominican women that also worked for my uncle. I asked where were her roots from, then she informed me. Due to her regular style of dressing, her Locks, plus head dress, I secretly viewed her as "Mother Africa" in my mind. We had a good laugh when I asked has she ever had to check someone that was talking about her in Spanish in public. She said she's had to put other Spanish speakers in their place a few times. I'm going to be honest, here in Latin America many Afro-Latinos feel proud of being Latino and Afro-descendant, what I have seen is that they live happily here, I suppose it is not like in the USA where racism is very strong and that is why I understand that many want to return to Mama Africa, but I don't think Afro-Latinos want to return to africa because they see Latin America as a part of themselves, their home.

Even back then, they went out of thier way to distinguish black. They were either called Ethio[pian, or they look Ethiopian but they aren't, Swarthy, Tawny. The physical characteristics. Hell, even in the Smithsonian, library of congress have books that have first hand accounts of encounters and what the people look like. Read up on the Independence of Argentina.

      If you pay attention to the video, these people feel as though they’ve been marginalized, so you can have an opinion, just know your opinion doesn’t represent the actual views of the people in this video (watch that woman say that she wants everyone to take them into consideration towards the end). That “Race doesn’t exist” mentality probably works for you though.

      Many Mexicans are racist and colorist to indigenous and African Mexicans. It’s because of colonization, even though majority of the country isn’t white (majority are mestizo) they still uphold the idle that “white is better.” It can be seen by whites in Mexico getting more representation, money, & education due the Spanish caste system.

    • @pedrojuano1906
      @pedrojuano1906 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mestizos are not a real category and, as a category, mean absolutely nothing. Furthermore, those to whom the label "mestizo" has been imposed are for that very reason not "natives" or "indians". Asking for afromexicans to be called mestizos because of them having also mixed with spaniards or natives is just trying to erase afromexican culture and having them assimilate to what is considered as mexican, precisely the problem.

    • @Amazonite371
      @Amazonite371 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mestizos are only Native if they have predominantly Indigenous ancestry which even then struggle to identify as Indigenous, most identify as White. Lastly, Afro-Indigenous people exist.

    • @pedrojuano1906
      @pedrojuano1906 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @S S No, Afromexicans are the descendants of African slaves taken into Mexico by spaniards and their culture has its roots on the culture of said slaves with influence, of course, of other local groups.
