I don't know how Gamechanger was 6 years ago, BUT when scoring a fielded ground ball today, you first click the defensive player who fielded the ball, THEN click again to the position player who recorded the putout, usually the first baseman. If you don't double click, or indicate that the infielder recorded an assist by throwing it to first, no assist will be recorded. The end result is a solely a putout for the 3B, or SS, or 2B etc.
Throw ball, or hit done - it’s on the top, in the header. So the option was available at that time. To date, I’m beating my head trying to figure out why anyone would use an advanced stat keeping app and not utilize it correctly. I actually had a baseball/softball dad try to convince me this is how it’s done…and he’s an official scorekeeper. His reference must solely be this video.
And the video did demo this incorrectly which adds to the confusion! I think it would be good for game changer to assume the throw as made and give you another option to record a fielder running the bag which is not as common of a situation.
Hey Brian - would you mind adding me as an admin to the WSLLL TH-cam account? Not really sure how to get in touch with you... my contact info is on the board page for the league. Thanks!

I agree this is not obvious and I'm guessing most people don't record it correct!

Thank you! So helpful.
Love it... Thanks!
Can you stream the game video live with a gopro or phone with the Game Changer?
no option for catchers interference. Perhaps this has been addressed in an update since this was recorded?
hope you realize the second baseman didnt throw the ball to first base according to what you scored...

Hi dad
You failed to show the throw to first base.
