hello! first of all thank you for all the videos, secon, did you use only oil colors? how much time you wait to dry this layer and put the varnish cover? it is possible to use acrilic colors?
I constantly change my "recipies" for how I varnish. When I use tube colours, I coose it because of the pigment there in. Since I use oil varnish, I use oil tube colours. Mixing water based substances in some layers might not be optimal. In my eyes, there is a lack of transparency doing that. The "Old Wood" high resin oil varnish dries very fast. You can easily varnish once a day. By mixing it into the tube colour, the drying process is much shortened.
I like Rembrandt colours. Look for "Transparent" red-, orange- or brown- oxide. You can also add some olive green and lamp black to make it darker and brownish-red.

Thanks for sharing: did you mix the three color together, then do one layer of glazing, or put three layer of glaze to form the final color?
I mixed the colors and put one layer. After drying, I highlighted some areas with an extra red, before varnishing with a clear coat.
Can you pls help me out by sharing what type of color you're using? Or brand / company? And where can i found them ?
