@@mixup98 That is awesome! I used to do that, many moons ago....All the old farmers that let me hunt on their property have all passed away, and I gave up on it....People have changed, and so has the environment around Indiana here......Have fun!

I grew up on the Wet Coast of Canada, but I took a motorcycle trip through the west coast one year and passed through southern Nevada on my way to Corpus Christi in Texas. This short video reminded me of that time. Thanks for this, and for the spooky music when the spider showed up. A calming moment as a nation waits for the results.
Thanks for turning me on to this video. I love watching exploration videos. Can't do anything like that where I live, in Indiana. The state's over 90% privately owned property. What's left is pretty much all under the parks department, and heavily regulated. There's some old military sites around, but they're all secured. There's one fish and wildlife area nearby that used to belong to a munitions plant many decades ago. Those areas are all restricted, due to the possibility of unexploded munitions. From what people living in that area have told me, every so often, they hear a boom from some animal running afoul of the unexploded munitions.
Nevada has about 48 million acres of public land and much of it is open to shooting, hunting, exploring, hiking, etc. I absolutely love this state and I don't think I could live anywhere else. I've been to Indiana once and I remember seeing what seemed like millions of acres of corn. I love corn and I love your state though. I have a handful of exploration videos here on youtube and I hope you get the opportunity to watch most of them.
that tarantula scratching its abdomen is a defense indicator - it is flicking off hairs which act like microscopic porcupine quills. It was scared and warning you to stay away.

Thanks, that was a nice trip out west; the drone footage is awesome and makes all the videos even better. I used to explore more to the west in the California desert around Baker - always came upon interesting things. Thanks for the journey
That old ghost town/possible movie set was really neat. I loved the old stagecoach shell. Really cool stuff in the desert!! BTW, that tarantula was kicking hairs at you, which is a defense mechanism. The hairs immediately imbed in your skin and can be a serious irritant. Just be careful.
Not to be trifled with! Those hairs will make you miserable and can even blind you permanently. I'd rather be bitten by a new world T than haired. The species here in Arizona are not venomous enough to hurt humans, but those hairs are the devil's own invention.

If you got the patience and they're still there you can look in between the floor boards of the prospectors cabin, whatever building was the general store & saloon and find gold. I came across a prospectors cabin way out in the woods not far from where gold was mined in "my state" long long ago. The cabin was maybe 8x12. Anyway the roof had collapsed and a few boards were broke enabling me to get under the boards to the dirt below. I was looking for old bottles but within 3 minutes found 2 tiny nuggets that I could pick up in a area where water had run under the cabin after a ran. I took my back pack filled it with dirt that I was able to get from hitting the boards above also scooped up the dirt from directly under the crack. After I packed all that crap back to the house and what I collected from a 2nd trip I ended up with 3.2 grams. I know if I'd been able to follow the small wash from the rain running under the cabin I probably couldve found more. Last time I was able to go back the cabin and 2 1/2 to 3 square miles around it were burnr.

Very Cool!
Thank you Mr. Perez.
Are these videos on your other channel? Because I know I have seen them before.
They seem very familiar for me to!!@@
Yes, they are on our channel, Wild West Outdoors, but unfortunately that channel just isn't doing very well and I've decided to share our outdoor videos here. I hope my viewers don't mind.
No, we don't mind at all.
Very cool

The miner's cabin was bigger than I expected
Not sure I would go around messing with tarantulas like that, but obviously it's old hat to you guys
Cool vid. Where’s the music from?
TH-cam actually has a library of free music that creators like me can use. I also use music that is in the public domain, such as the music used when watching the tarantulas (Night of the Living Dead).
Pretty neat stuff
Thanks....and I also thank you for the sub.
