Do you pronounce it osU or oSS? - Is there even a correct pronunciation? Let's find out
in the thumbnail, there is a line seperating the two different common pronunciations of the game's name. Why am I saying this? im trying to fill my description, of course. do you guys even have an urge to just run? like, sudden energy out of nowhere? idk idk idk

The japanese pronunciation is actually ɯ which is not a vowel in british or american english. And it's actually very close to oss with an long s~ sound

it really doesnt matter. from a japanese perspective, its normal to say "desu" or "dess" (although desu is much more uncommon), they are virtually the same thing.
better explained from sources on the web:
1. It's true that in more mainstream dialects, non-doubled う sounds attached to certain consonants are "silent". But in other dialects it's explicitly not silent. Doing it either way generally won't affect other people's ability to understand you, as long as you're fairly consistent with it.
2. Many of the "u" sounds are often left unvoiced.
For です in particular, 99% of the time you're going to pronounce it as similar to "Dess". There is the barest hint of the u remaining: Almost as if you shape your mouth to say it, but then simply don't. If you finish with a rising intonation (Like when asking a question) the u is often voiced,but that's not a hard and fast requirement and I've seen native speakers do both in the same conversation.

押忍 (ossu) and 押す (osu) are false cognates. 押忍 is shortened from "ohayou gozaimasu" (of course a bunch of macho gigachad martial artists would meet first in the morning). And 押す is just the verb "pushing".
Regarding the devoicing of the final /u/, it's devoiced, so it's not un-pronounced, just unvoiced (like whispering), it's still there. And it's not like people do that all the time, it's not gonna change the meaning of the word. In Japan, many variations of the language do not have that phenomenon.
