Loved my Virago after 25 years without a bike while raising my 5 kids, first bike after at 50 years old,535 Virago, upgraded 2 years later to a 1995 1400 Intruder, now 68 years old, still riding the same Intruder, best bike I've ever owned.
All the job was done in a garage.. exhaust is just an open pipe built therefore not perfect but considering a $2k bike and budget built I think it works well

In Germany most viragos are under 48PS so they are allowed with A2 . But it depends, you have to check the exact power (and something else if you live in a different country)

I don't really like the sound. It has this annoying ratteling sound when it revs. And i don't like that the pipes are so thin or the fact that the one from the front cylinder goes over part of the engine instead of under.
I can respect that, everyone has their own opinions. I myself love stripped and sleek cruisers with a bit of rattle here and there to give voice to the engine's vibration. Ooh and that overarching pipe imo is both good-looking and practical as it grants more ground clearance.

It was a standard size, the white bad is actually white walls flippers not the tire itself
