- Abandoned IHOP - Warren, OH. Today we take a look around this IHOP that didn't last all too long. Located right by the Eastwood Mall Complex, this is hidden in a little parking lot by the Home Depot and getting to this restaurant is a little difficult which may have played a role in its closure besides the virus.

R.I.P. Aunt jemima (now pearl milling company)
Pearl Milling Company is the parent company and Aunt Jemima was their signature brand. The reason Aunt Jemima is no more is because the politically correct people think the name Aunt Jemima is racist and references slavery. Personally, I'm pissed that politically correct people think that, they are just ignorant (they'd call me ignorant too)... Pearl Milling even said that Aunt Jemima isn't a reference to slavery but people don't care.

"Kids eat free!" Not at that one in middle of land of potholes! They keep closing, everyone will start calling them, "IHOPE" as in "I hope they're open!"
The IHOP in my neighborhood went out of business in June of 2020 & was replaced by a Dennys in May of this year.
Its been a long while since I've been to an IHOP or IHOB

Hey I know this place, this is one heck of a mall complex! Awesome, thank you for uploading this! So many questions were asked about why this location suddenly closed, but the funny thing is it's been closed for about 4+ yrs now and is so clean inside!
This location has not been closed for four plus years. My best friend lives less than a mile from here and it just closed in the early days of the covid pandemic. It did however cease being 24 hours several years before it closed altogether

We noticed it close for covid during that stay at home shit and it hasn't responded since. Been wondering when you'd talk about that ihop. Nice seeing u in the area again. Should go check out the old hospital in warren. Ive been in there a few times, its pretty neat.

I'm not sure you did this while you were there or if you were planning to go back to this area but right directly diagonally across from you from the street is an old abandoned super K building and if you continue down that main road down to the right past the old hometown buffet then that huge building connected to the Eastwood mall used to be a Sears seriously go check those out if you have time

They temporarily closed the one in Mooresville NC. Same note in the window and they pulled all if the signs on the building and at the road. 8 months later it re opened as IHOP. They resigned it and the inside is the same as it was when it closed.
There was a ihop in my town on campus in Champaign Illinois and they tore it down and I don’t remember when they opened it up and closed it down and I been to one in Iowa

i live in warren. I'm so upset about this location. Its officially shut down due to the covid outbreak and they couldnt bounce back. Especially after cafaro raised the rent of the location. I have heard they are turning it into a Longhorn.

In Rochester NH they have a new IHOP but they screwed up the septic so you walk in and it smells bad.
Uh, in my hometown (in PR) I've smelled 🤮"the brown" out of a BK quite a few years ago (didn't enter, it was that😝gross).
Early morning the following day that same restaurant 💥exploded (no one was inside at the moment and there were no injuries). You figure it out... 🤔

There’s a recently closed IHOP in Avon, Ohio.
There's an IHOP in Omaha, Nebraska that closed late last year or early this year, and it also sits in front of a Home Depot. Maybe there's some sort of weird connection...
...or it could just be a coincidence, I dunno. :p

The only bad thing about ihop is the service is so slow there and sometimes the waiters are rude
I’m afraid the one in my town (Cookeville, TN) won’t be around much longer. They seem to be closing early lately, probably short staffed. Never seen a huge crowd there. The building is less than 10 years old, but the last time I ate there a few months ago, it was feeling run down with drooping ceiling tiles and just had a vibe about it. Food was ok but nothing remarkable.

Signage is on the outside, window clings are on the inside. The landlord sent a professional company to remove the outdoor signage, but they didn't have keys/permission to enter to take down those window clings.

There's an old abandoned Tops store on Elm Rd. In Warren,Ohio
And also an empty tops store in Ravenna,ohio...the last tenant was a good cents grocery store which if I'm not mistaken was run by Giant Eagle.
Our IHOP closed, but then re-opened under new management. Still taste like crap. Pancakes is the only thing worth a poop.

Denny's and IHOP are both low quality diner food. Even Waffle House is only slightly better, but I'd still rate all 3 as diner trash as well. I don't have an IHOP or Denny's near my house or near my parents' house and we don't go out of our way to go to any.

International House Of Pancakes Has Very Good Pancakes.
Store opened when I was in high school. Me and my dudes were so hype for IHOP we walked two miles in ankle deep snow on opening night. They had about a thousand people on the wait staff that night.
Me and my dude Joey used to hang there at nights because if you just ordered coffee they'd keep refilling it and back then you could still smoke inside.
Once Joey wouldn't take a shit in the IHOP toilet even though the bathrooms were immaculate and I had to drive his fat ass all the way back to his home toilet on the west side of Warren so he wouldn't shit his pants.

IHOP and Applebee's are the same company and both use cheap ingredients
There is pancake batter in IHOP Omelettes and Applebee's has wheat in all of their seasoning to save lots of money 💲💲💲
