All of those were dope. The biggest thing I noticed from this is that as we went from noob to pro, we progressively can hear the artist more and more clearly. What they were saying, the story they were telling, and the emotion in their tone all got progressively more digestible as a listener. Great experiment!

bro the amateur's verse was the best imo, his delivery was catchy, even like the "cheat day!" going into the verse is like ear candy that keeps you engaged, and the way he mixed his voice made it unique and stood out to me amongst the other artists.

its all stylistic at some point tho. some musicians have made their entire rap career off double tracks, 42 dugg being the biggest name that pops out. He's running double tracks for literally every song n even tho when u first hear one of his songs its off-putting because youre so USED to mono tracks, I don't think its a bad artistic direction to go in. lol just preference of how you prefer to hear yourself on the mic.
Do a beat speedrun, make 5 beats in an hour and you have to make a song out of one of them

Also, really cool to hear the difference! I started to get a bit cynical thinking "what even makes a good flow" but you can realllly feel it with mat's version
Biggest difference is the lack of fear, first two artists seemed intimated by the slower melodic part of the best where Matt tackled it head first. They just need to build up that confidence
Honestly think that if they would've all had the same mic they would be a lot closer

I think the biggest, most easy to notice differences is:
- the vocals, mainly the mix and fx
- how well the last guy nails the technical skill set on every level (rap wise)

All of these were great! The sound quality for the vocals had a lot to do with this. If all 3 of them were on the same high quality microphone, you would have a more realistic comparison because of subconscious bias. There might still be an experience gap but only one way to truly find out! :D
