Booked 2 people in Etihad first from IAD to AUH with a few day stop over (checking out Al Maha and Burj Khalifa) and then onto Seoul in business class for 145k points per person. Not the craziest sweet spot, but not bad for international first class and a stop over with award availability for 2 people.
Great content, Ricky! Would love to see a POT post about FIFO workers travelling from Eastern Canada to Alberta for work. Some of the people I work with are currently spending upwards of $2500 per month to fly return from NFLD to YMM
Why does air canada charge such high cash components when booking flights with points? Or am i missing something? Eg. Return flights for 3 people from Vancouver to London in Nov 2022 costs $3100 or 155k points + $2600. It's insane
Love the content. But, I think the video seems very unorganized and honestly confusing. Would I be possible to add time stamps and organize by theme (E.g, continent, or class, or departure location) The older video is a lot more digestible

On 5:44, how do you book a domestic US flight using aeroplan? When I try to do it, I get the error message 'It is not possible to search for flights which have both an origin and a destination in the United States.'
The only thing I'm confused on, regarding stopovers, is many articles say you can call AC and give them Flight Numbers to customize your routing... but is that true? I need to dig around and make sure the airline and flight I want has award space, correct? It never gives me routings I want even though I am booking 5-6 months out.
need some important information when i book flights with aeroplan mostly my bookings gets cancelled by the original airlines without informing any info on this ?
that is very circumstantial, depending on the reasons. But so far, it is quite uncommon for operating airlines to cancel your ticket booked by aeroplan, or any other airlines loyalty program
i dont get how you get these fix prices. I choose points and its all dynamic points. For example you said 55k for vancouver to toyko but I can get 55k total. Its like 110k and up
There is nothing at the points Ricky mentions. You either book a year out or you can be very lucky if one can manage to find flights at the points in the chart
I have a TD Visa Aeroplan, and I see that AMEX is now offering Aeroplan with an 85k bonus. Is there anything specific I need to do when signing up for the AMEX to ensure those 85k points go into my existing Aeroplan account?
Stop referring to "Latitude attitude" as a fact because it's wrong. Latitude fare alone' doesn't guarantee automatic e-upgrade. I have a booking where the outbound was upgraded immediately, but the inbound wasn't. They're both latitude, but one has a lower fare category, and, therefore, I have to wait until the boarding to know if I'm upgraded or not, with 0 guarantees that I will be. Also, even if your ticket has the highest latitude fare, but the seats dedicated to eupgrade in the business cabin are filled, you won't be upgraded.
I’m sorry but non of this can be found. The going one way rate from bangkok to Toronto or Montreal business has been around 250,000 points for the last three months and the upcoming three months. I’m sure it’s fun to publish this content but the reality is totally different.
@@PrinceofTravel I’m sorry but that’s just not the case. I wish what you published was true but it’s not so I think it would be best if you correct the content you have posted.
@@nickmanning3913 Don't know what to tell you. Partner itineraries are fixed-price at 85,000 points to Bangkok (provided the total distance is less than 11,000 miles flown)
“You can upgrade using e-upgrade instantaneously if you do latitude attitude.” Well, I followed your advice and it does not work always unfortunately. If you book the flight 3 days before, maybe?
NK , flying on points is not really easy, but you get out of it what you put into it. if it was easy everyone would be doing it. We are very very lucky to have Ricky. To get a general idea of how this is done, I would recommend spending at least 12-24 hours reviewing Ricky's videos. You will need to take notes and watch them several times. This work will just give you an into to the basics!! Before you ask Ricky a Question; review his previous posts and there is a good chance your question has already been answered. You should start with a definite trip in mind. If you are really interested in this stuff book a Travel Consult for $200 with one of Ricky's gurus. I have booked two travel consults with Ricky and his team and they paid for themselves many many times over. My wife and I took a seven segment business class trip to Turkey and Paris from YYZ that would have cost us $24,000CDN. We got it for 160,000 pts plus $700 cash FOR BOTH OF US!!!! Hope this helps Grant P.S. I provided similar info to Paul below
Hi Ricky. What am I doing wrong. I look at air Canada. Com click fly using points - then 450k miles YYZ to MNL one way. I only have 225,000 AC miles. AC has buy points and get bonus points. I want business and steal of a deal first. I'm retired. Toronto-Tokyo or Osaka, down to Manila or Cebu or Davao. Then to Singapore-South Africa, visit, to Accra. To Europe, Home. First with ANA, SQ, LH/LX & Or Business. Suggestions.

Just booked Tokyo-Toronto via Chicago on ANA First Class (the Suite) for 105k points, couldn't resist that sweet spot. Thanks for your content!
Damn! That’s insane. I’m so tempted to book this too!!
This is the type of content that's super helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
A friend of mine commanded this channel, he is using his instruction and travelling around the world very cheap price.
This is super helpful. Thanks, Prince of travel!
My pleasure
This is the best prince of travel video 👍
Assalam alaikum do you sell your points to me
Great video! Hopefully I can book one of these sweet spot deals soon!
An insane video! Respect!
Excellent Analysis for doing Aeroplan points redemption 👏

My husbands site is giving $800 Sub for these travellers, but frankly, I would rather give the work to Albertans first, but thats a whole other topic.
I might have missed something…but are these all one way? Your content is excellent. Thanks for sharing.
Super smooth delivery in this rapid fire format. Great Flow!
Glad you like it!
Great video as always 👏🏾
Thank you 🙌
I didn't watch yet but I already liked it. Sending you some love from Xi'an airport flying to Sanya!!

Speaking of fifth freedom flights, I just booked Turkish business class from BOG-PTY.
That’s an awesome one
Didn't know about that 5th freedom route. Great Victor

Please can you do a video on just the economy sweet spots
Will do!

How do you find partner airlines?
Amazing! thanks for sharing
Awesome
🔥 post Ricky.
Cheers
Is there an alternative website to find Aeroplan deals over Air Canada? Their website is garbage and takes forever manually punching in random dates.
Great video! Do you know the main difference between EY first class on 787-9 and first class on 777 aircraft? thanks a lot
Cant even find any Flights for YVR to TYO for those point values or with ANA, unless you travel via SEA or LAX.
ANA award seats tend to get snapped up very quickly, so look towards the end of the schedule (~1 year out)
CN YOU ONLY USE THESE POINTS WITH AIR CANADA? HOW TO USE IT WITH STAR ALLIANCE? THANK YOU
Every Air Canada seat is bookable with Aeroplan points, but Star Alliance/partner awards are subject to availability.
What about Vancouver to New Delhi?
where do you even fin these deals? I'm on Air Canada's site and I don't see anything remotely close to these deals.

Just wow
It’s good 👍🏻
new to the points game, do you have to call in to book these offers???
If more complex routings don't show up online, you can piece together flights that you find online to book over the phone
I need help booking to Malaysia. I am a senior and i am having problems maximizing my aeroplan points.😂

Are these return flights or just one way? Like its 85k points one way?
All of the redemptions mentioned in this video are one-way prices unless otherwise stated.

Hey, any of you savvy travellers know where to sell maple leaf lounge passes? I have a pile of them.
How is Ethiopian Business?
Oh my , my brain is tingling
Love it!
Hey Ricky, I got a 5k point bonus on my amex reserve card. My promo period is over and I don't know where this came from. Any ideas?
Bro wasnt joking when he said 50 ways 😂
Damn, that was a lot to take in all at once
Dynamic pricing makes the YVR-NRT flights you mentioned hard to come by.
Look for fixed-price ANA award seats

Look for partner flights (non-Air Canada) for fixed prices. If you see dynamic pricing on Air Canada, using eUpgrades (#11) is your best bet

What HOW did you find toronto to london in Business class for 56k points?!?! When I check its 225k+ one way…..?
Are these one way redemption rates that you're mentioning?
Yes, one-way rates
