TCW, this was a great recap of a legendary legacy to gaming and gamers. I was surprised to see you cover it, but it's a welcome surprise! Well scripted, well researched, presented, and edited.
The N64 made fps games really a thing for me with Goldeneye 64, Perfect Dark, Turok (2) and Doom 64. The genre was already longer around, but not really on console and i didn't have the funds for a PC back then. Nontheless amazing IP with a legendary status but a little too straightforward for my taste if i'm honest. Nonetheless very cool mini-docu, Cad!
I loved playing Doom. I was playing it until my fingers bled. I was exited for Doom 3 but that was a big disappointment for me. I hated the scripted feel of the enemies. i remember walking through a completely empty hall. Then entering a small room (that triggered an event). And when I exited the room the hall was filled with enemies. They spawned there with no logical point of entry. I quit the game and havent played Doom since. But I have fond memories of the original.
I was worried we weren't getting a CadWoman video this week! Quality content. Every time. Lots of Battlefield news lately, too. Season 7, Holiday events...
The last time I played Doom 3 with my Creative 7.1, OMG, The horror around also keeping the pen and paper writing the puzzles; what a time. xD Doom is still one of the best single FPS games ever made. Quake 4 was good too, not like Doom, but good enough to play whole day and night ) After Doom, Quake, CoD 1 & UO and CoD 2, the FPS single-game campaign is literally dead imho

OMG! I think this was my first fps I bought. I ran it on my 486 DX. Jeeeeez... That was some time ago...
Doom 64 was my first Doom game back then and when they released it again, I lost my shit lol.
An awesomely created history lesson. Thank you for bringing back memories 😊
Great video. Thanks for sharing 😊
First game I ever played was on the first PlayStation console and going into a three dimensional world world was amazing
The fact this wasn't a battlefield video tells you everything you need to know about the state of the game
I was 32 when this game was released and have played all versions
Great stuff!

Doom is the only game worth playing! Best Franchise ever made! Love Doom 1 and Doom 2016. Best of all time!
