I already know what happens but before watching these translations I didn't care much for Kanata, but seeing her put so much work into trying to save Ayame last investigation really made me like her and it sucks that she's gone (what really annoys me is how she died like why did she have to die so brutally and why Kanata of everyone left?? Makes me dislike the killer a bit, although the whole point is to kill and escape so can't really blame them). Kakeru was just there to me, it's cool how Linuj broke the "big guy dies in the 4th chapter" trope but I didn't really care for him, it seemed like Linuj didn't know what to do with him and he was way too underutilised (and did nothing in trials despite being the Ultimate Laywer, the trials were his time to shine and he did hardly anything, Kakeru ended up being death fodder sadly).

Something of note is that none of the victims so far have had their eyes closed, they all died with their eyes left open. In Kanata and Tomori’s case it probably wasn’t possible but it’s interesting that Mitch didnt bother closing Maki’s eyes, even if he was in a hurry.
Rei definitely managed to do something to her assaulter's right hand... like the girlboss she is! Either that, or she recognized a unique identifying feature on their right hand that would sell out the killer. That would be pretty definitive evidence, assuming the culprit did nothing to hide the feature. I don't blame her for having that as her trump card, but it sucks that Yuki and the others have to be on the brink of insanity in order to for Rei to lend them a hand, lmfao. I don't have all the evidence so far, but I have a crack theory that Kinjo's unconscious ass was left bleeding on the library floor long before Kakeru's death... and therefore, was probably used to as bait for Kakeru to enter the scene (and into a trap of sorts in the library that uh... ended up almost decapitating him). I'm guessing that like in D1's third case, a blood bag might have been used to drench the library entrance so that someone would notice and check out wtf was up with the bleeding door. From there, Kinjo's body might have been used as a distraction, so the killer could attack kakeru unnoticed while his attention was on poor Kinjo. Uehara might have also been used in this fashion to lure Inori, but I don't think so...? Although maybe his unconscious body would make her reasonably panic and try to help him, lol. I guess the plastic film was used to coat the spear weapon thing during the murder so that the blood didn't get on it, but the tip ended up piercing through... thus creating the blood spot. Not gonna lie, Uehara looks MAD SUSPICIOUS for this murder and I absolutely hate it 😢 I am anticipating a Korekiyo style "fufufufu im actually a crazy mf" breakdown from him (although in retrospect I have realized that kork's craziness is a product of abuse), because I don't think he's EVER elaborated on what religion he follows. Or well, maybe he does in his FTE, I wouldn't know sadly. I've always wondered what faith he even subscribed to ever since his introduction! And I even wondered if later on, it would be revealed that he was actually from some psycho cult, or held some psycho ideas. And man, I did not enjoy that kork breakdown from such a cool character, and I love Uehara, so I am dreading to see him become a culprit and reveal some sinister side to his character. As if I didn't need have enough excuses to hate religion LMFAO If so, I can also see Uehara using the blood bags to appear injured to Inori in order to abuse her trust somehow. If Uehara is actually a psycho in disguise, I can see him being cold enough to not give a fuck about these brutal methods. Fingers crossed that somebody else is the culprit!!

About that cell phone, how does maki have it and they didn't take it from her in the first day??, isn't it they take everything from the characters like cell phones so they make sure that no one escape the school?
From what I can understand, that cellphone was left as a "clue" for them to find , and it seems Maki used it before the killing game started (or that's what I can assume from it, since I don't recognize any of the other characters in her photo). And well this was already mentioned on this chapter but you can't use the cellphone to escape since it's signal doesn't reach , one idea is : "something" happened outside , another one would be that the metal plates prevent the signal from reaching and so on.
I think Kanata pulled a Nekomaru. Accidentally killed herself when she tried to untie herself. But Yamaguchi's death is still a huge mystery for me, except for the blood stain in the art room locker. Also I think I already know the culprit.

my first guess is that yamaguchi's neck was cut with a wire, similar to ayame's leg, but that doesn't explain all the blood
