George Harrison was a true musical genius. His soulful guitar playing and deeply spiritual songs added unmatched depth to The Beatles' music. A quiet legend whose work continues to inspire us all. 🌟🎶
George was a bit younger than Lennon.3 years, that counts in early life.I think they grew up and grew apart.Great bands often explode under centrifugal force. sad he passed away so young
He may have been the thorn in his career but, he wouldn't have had the career without him because McCartney wanted him in the band in the first place and he insisted on it when Lennon didn't want him in, that's my problem with all of this with George Harrison... He would not have been in the Beatles without Paul McCartney, bar none... George was Paul's friend first...
I think Paul felt threatened by George's song writing abilities, just listen to their solo albums Georges work was superior to Paul's or maybe I'm biased I'll let you people decide.
I agree, George had a songwriting ability frankly that I think was very similar to Paul's and Paul felt intimidated... I think Paul and George from a songwriting standpoint had more in common than with Lennon... McCartney and Harrison's songs sound more similar sounding... It's a good thing that The Beatles broke up so that Harrison could do his thing..
I seriously think you’re projecting your own love of George onto the situation. The band was built on John and Paul’s songwriting skills. George knew that when he joined them. You don’t see Ringo crying about his songs not being used. If you take Paul’s continuing musical career you can plainly see that he was the true genius. George never would have written half the material that Paul has.
@@nisar8009 A large proportion on Paul's solo career from 1970 onwards was meaningless drivel as compared to songs like Yesterday, For No-One, Here There and Everywhere, Fool On The Hill, Lady Madonna, Hey Jude, etc. After 1969 he had no John Lennon to critique his lyrics. A lot of which have been naive and banal.

Still missed 😊

McCartney Lennon on a different level
George Harrison respected the Monkees
"Harisson" What's up with that, Legends Rewind?

Rubbish. George auditioned for John just once......and he was in. Ten years later...Paul was bullying George, and that's when the problems started.
@tbeau6663 no it's not rubbish, it's been well documented, I'm here to have McCartney's back... There is no George Harrison without Paul McCartney
@tbeau6663 guess who got George the audition for John.... John didn't want him in the band initially.. guess who pushed to have him in the band.....??
@tbeau6663 humbly, I'm just calling out your "rubbish"....
You could have at least spelled George's last name correct.
Te most unhappy member in the group.
