Wow, this came out beautiful! You have inspired me to make an alligator watch strap for my Dad for his Birthday! I will share it with you when i finish
@@StrapaWatch could you possibly tell me the size of your brass stamp for your watch straps? I'm getting mine made and I love how yours fits perfectly right between the stitching
I honestly don't have a clue. I had it made years ago, along with several others in various sizes. I would simply measure the space you're looking for and order accordingly. MK
Love this! That dail and stitching combo is incredible really really nice! I haven’t taken my watch off since my strap arrived it’s incredible and I’m so chuffed to have one of your amazing pieces! have a good weekend!
Michael, again congratulations and wear her well, she is a beautiful timepiece. The strap is stunning, you killed it again with the contrast of colors. I hope you get things sorted out with the curved spring bars. Stay safe and stay healthy!! Al
Beautiful Michael! I also wanted that watch and in that color. I requested it when the Rolex dealers debuted the 2020 line in about September of last year. I asked my AD about it a week ago, he said they haven't gotten an OP 41 since about November. In other words, they're gone. You got lucky! I bought 5 or 6 pieces from this dealer last year so I was pretty high on his call list but no chance for that piece. By the way, I just placed a strap order on your site so we'll talk soon.
What a beautiful strap. Love the colour stitching. Micheal, you are a true watch strap artisan. Hope you still loving the watch. There is only one for sale at this moment on chrono24. 41mm in the US and its above $11,000. That's how popular and rare it is. Hopefully they will become more obtainable soon. It should do. Hope you get your sliver snoopy 3 speedmaster soon. I paid for one on release day and was told I will get it at the end of January. Because of covid, it looks like I will not be getting it for another few more months. Oh well, no rush for it. It's not limited edition but is very low supply. I will be keeping mine, but it be nice to know that it will selling way above RRP on the grey market. Thank you for the video
Thanks Richard! Yes, I’m still loving my new Tiffany OP. I’m wearing it right now! Lots of compliments when people get a glance at it. I was just told my my Omega boutique the same thing, two to three more months. My hope is that they don’t over produce the watch. I don’t plan on selling mine either, but I’ve now received three hefty offer for it with one that’s very high. We’ll see how it plays out, because I think Omega will do a pretty good production run on the new Snoopy whereby it’ll become more available. They should announce some cap on it to drive sales even more, but they probably won’t. Thanks again for the comment. MK
@@StrapaWatch Hi Micheal. I have a very very good relationship with my omega AD. I live in greater london and our local omega boutique told me they only had an allocation of 3 pieces in one year. He did mention to me that he believes that it will stop production in a few years. Although it is not limited edition (everything from omega is limited these days) it is very very low production. I think its because they still want to create interest in the brand. Hence, this is why you had a very substantial offer for it already. They knew something that you didnt. If you sell it, it would be a piece that you might not be able to get back in the future. I hope that it has shed some light into it. All the best.. ps. I am still loving the tiffany!!
Hey Brother! I’m finally getting caught up. That’s why I had taken a couple of weeks off from doing the show, and was able to make a strap for myself. It’s been a long time since I was able to have a chance to do that. Hope all’s well on your end? MK
I would like to order this same leather and stitching combo in 20mm with curved spring bars. Is it easy to make those selections and order on your website?
Nicely done strap--had no idea they take 8 hours to make!!! You nailed it with the blue stitching too. Great that you even got the Rolex buckle on there but does it bother you the tongue being slightly off kilter? Congrats on the new OP and again, love the strap
Thanks Dr. Dax! Yeah, I have to find a shorter tongue for that buckle. I ended up using the one that came with it about a year ago on a customer’s strap and buckle combo. MK
Awesome video Michael - love the OP41 on strap now i've seen it. You're one of the first i've seen! I'm thinking of getting one made for my green dial op41 - what colours do you think would work best?
Hi Chris, Thanks for the comment and question! I do have a Green Horween Shell Cordovan Leather in stock that would be cool, but really anything from black and brown to tan will work with that dial. MK
Nice job! It takes a real man to admit mistakes. Let me suggest the next one in that slightly darker leather you rejected at the beginning of the video. Keep at it!
PS..I had to laugh when you talked about the shoes again. I remembered when I was still working in the Bay Area and had to dress for success everyday that I used to get Christmas cards from my shoe guy at Nordstom's for years. That's when you know you spent way too much $$ for shoes. Now my winter wardrobe is sweats and tenny's....lol
I was still getting caught up on all of the orders that came in over the holidays. That takes priority over the show. It actually takes me a few days to put one of my shows together. Thanks for asking! MK
@@StrapaWatch thanks MK I will do really looking forward it although I’ve just picked up a Tudor black bay Harrods for Christmas so the op will definitely be my last one for a couple of years 🍺
I made it to match a pair of shoes and a belt that I wear to my day job, typically with either a pair of blue or tan slacks and our Tiffany colored shirts we wear day in and day out. With the quick release spring bars I then switch it out for the next day’s attire. I think it looks great with the ensemble… MK
Hi Adolf, Thanks for your feedback. Since making this strap I was able to install 1.5mm Curved Spring Bars and was able to buff out the mark with Venetian Cream. This process also darkened the strap a little more. It actually turned out great and I wear the strap often. Thanks again, MK
@@StrapaWatch the dial speaks for itself. Let it shine. The thread choice is overkill and somehow takes the class away from the watch. Mute it a bit and you will see a balance with elegance 🥇

Thanks Pat! Probably Black Alligator with the same stitching. Stay turned... MK
A black alligator with tiffany blue stitching would be absolutely Maaaad.
