We've been here all week and have had a blast, super lucky with the snow. Shame we didn't bump into you but I'm sure we'll be back! Planning a big trip with a load of friends next year so might need some guiding services. Stay well and thanks again for all the info!
great videos. its nice to get a full weekly report. My family of 4 is heading to Val next season. it's been 15 years since I last visited. my daughters 8 and 12 are super stoked to shred the French Alps for the first time!!
Hi Floss, love your videos they always make me smile. That powder day on Monday looked magical. We arrived in Alpe d’Huez yesterday, crazy wind and today was a bit of a right off… hopefully that wind will drop and they open more lifts⛷️👍

Good to have honest reports about this awful season. As we see in this vid, the few higher resorts are hideously overcrowded. Desperate times as skiing seems to be dying so suddenly.
We've been here all week and it has been epic. Short queues almost everywhere and decent snow in the mornings at least. Climate change is undoubtedly a problem but it hasn't spoiled this trip in the slightest
Tignes and other resorts largely above 1800m have a golden future, partly because of climate change (at least for the coming decades). The shift of bookings from lower to higher resort has accelerated this season and this trend will continue.@@George-hk7yv
Love your videos and I'm itching to get my family out this Saturday (6 Apr) to Val Claret. Feeling I need some height as it looks like it's getting warmer from Friday, showing 8C at 2506m on Saturday. But I can't see any further! Do you think it would be OK for the week after next? I'm not a fan of slush!!
For someone limited by (independent) school holidays when would you recommend as the best week to book? Pre Christmas, Feb half term, Easter hols or other?
Xmas is becoming a quieter week and then Easter holiday if you pick the week that the french holidays aren`t off ...I would avoid February at all costs if you can. I hope this helps?
Thanks for watching everyone...leave me a comment 👇👇
I've been there this week - an orange snow is something. And almost no blue sky the whole week. Lol - saw that Vent Violent at 7:36 in live.
@@NoOnesIdea Difficult week this week

honestly, the queues aren`t that bad it was just because a lot of lifts were closed due to the wind ..
I see empty slopes full of virgin snow. No complaining necessary.
