I have a 74 shovel that Stroked toa98" halfway custom built bike. Worked on it in-between back surgeries, wanted to go with a hard tail but didn't think it would go well with the back! Put on shorter shocks and it rides the same or worse than a hard tail . After I got a new bike in 03 I let it sit in the corner of the shop and just looked at it. You helped me get motivated to get it up and running again.Like it better than the 03 cause nothing on it is simple. Ol'School Rules,and the Ol'Dudes too! Keeping it Sketchy! Ride On

I watched that 78 ironhead video, I have a 77 ironhead, bought completely torn down in 09, had it together in 2010, still sounds new at 70,000 miles since rebuild.

You got me thinking maybe i should share my prison stories too, especially the one where i snuck every part of a vintage shovelhead into the prison where i was at, by the way of stashing parts in my keister, one piece at a time, just like johnny cash!! I then rebuilt that shovelhead chopper, all covered in poop, in my cell. I used my celly as a bike table!! Then i rode that bike straight out that prison and began making TH-cam videos!!!! Life is sweet!!! 👍🍺 😂 😂😂😂 SLICK

Tried to kick start my 82 FLHS the other day, my kicker might as well be a diving board with the 88" stroke and high comp pistons, resorted to the E-start.
The king queen looks good. It's the dual cap mustang tang that ruins it for me. I had one on a British chopper I rode in the 80s and I just don't like the look. Decent capacity but just not my style. Lol but that being said you do you. I still appreciate it.
