hi Dave had my materials delivered and I am very impressed with the quality and also the personal touch with the personal signed order form. Thank you for the free gift I have already tied a couple of flies using them. I have never ordered from you before (only found your videos a month or so ago) but I will certainly order from you again in the future. I now look forward to tying a few Sparklers and hopefully Rutland will still be open when we plan to visit. Keep well my friend
Many thanks for sharing your expertise and knowledge. So captivated by your stories have to rewind the video to watch again :). Terrific pattern and insight to the fishing method. Fantastic Channel.
Cool pattern. Pretty slick how you tied in the flash. Before you folded back the wing it reminded me of a steelhead pattern here in the states called the Salmon R. Flea, white poly tied along top for a short forward wing & tail then fl red, orange or chartreuse yarn wrapped for the body. Just 2 materials, like Fran Betters' Usual - which has one material. Amazing how productive simple flies are. Thanks for the stories and fishing tips. Best of health to you David!
Hi Davie love your simple patterns and stories of how to use them. I have ordered the materials and look forward to tying some and using them at Rutland in May. Keep up the great videos
@@TheDavedownie Thanks Davie, when you say you use a double on the point on a fast sinking line do you fish this with other flies and if so what patterns or do you fish on its own on a short leader
@@ivancotterill6059 Normally something like a claret hopper and a cruncher type pattern, it will surprise you that dry flies work on fast sinking lines also :) give it a try

Love your flies but it took over three minutes of this video before you started tying lol. You will need to practice talking and tying at the same time.
