I honestly haven't missed characters this much since waiting in between seasons of Degrassi when I was a teenager, this group performs so well together it's so wonderful to see them together again!

Watching this, I basically forgot Evan exists, and I’m basically just picturing Brennan getting ready to fight Tad. Like he’s not even playing a character anymore, this is just Brennan being Brennan.

I could imagine a time when wizards lose access to magic could be seen as an opening to take out particularly troublesome individuals. On the other hand, this group, especially Evan, would be much better at mundane combat than any wizard.
