      @@milanartapp oh that is so EXCITING!!! My first baby was a boy, I was so young. 23!!! He is now 37! But the excitement and PURE JOY, will be with me till I take my last breath. Same with my Daughter, 5 years later. Cherish every moment… you blink and it’s over. There is nothing more precious in this world, I promise you that. I’m 60 years old now, and I would give anything, to have 10 minutes with each of my babies, skin to skin, heart to heart, it’s all brand new, but because that baby lived directly beneath your heart for 9 months, you know this tiny little persons soul and they know yours!! In a few weeks, and the baby is hungry or needs to be changed and is crying, you will have moments when you are exhausted, trust me, but take a deep breath and remember my words. The exhaustion will pass and you will have the most precious moments of your life, forever stamped in your memory and heart ♥️
      Forgive me if I have said too much. I’m really feeling emotional about the Seasons of my life that have been lived and are now just memories for me. I am an artist also, nothing compared to you, but the joy it brings me is as real as yours, so watching you work your magic on that canvas, seeing that gorgeous horse and then realizing that you were very close to giving birth… it just took me back to when I was in that season of my life, and I just really felt it. I will keep you and your precious baby boy in my Prayers🙏♥️🙏

    Hi there, this may be a weird question but I am not as tech savvy as most. Can you do a video to explain how you get the colour image before you paint? I get an idea and then sketch directly on the canvas. Is this a special programme you use to get that coloured image done and printed before hand?

    Hello, I love your work Dimitra. I just wanted to ask, when you draw your picture on the canvas with charcoal does it make your paint dirty when you start to paint over it in either acrylic or oils?

    • @JamieBonfiglioArt
      @JamieBonfiglioArt ปีที่แล้ว +1

      She sprays a fixative on the drawing. A fixative keeps the charcoal from smudging when it’s time to paint. That’s what she was doing when she was outside spraying the canvas in the video and said it takes like 3 minutes to dry. Works like a charm.

    QUESTION: using water with my hair chemicals I use no mineral water so the colors aren’t affected.
    I’ve heard you say that you use water. With acrylics would plain water affect the colors because of the metals in it???
    Would you use non mineral water?

    • @milanartapp
      @milanartapp  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, sparkleme1237! Great question! Dimitra creates her own unique sources for her paintings using photo editing software, and then that source is what is used as a reference for when she paints her created image (or in this case, uses the projector to save time on sketching).

    Is projecting cheating?

    • @lauraoliver4278
      @lauraoliver4278 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question but, nope, it is not cheating. SO many professional artists use them. For example, even classic artists such as Norman Rockwell used them to transfer his photos to the canvas prior to painting. Muralists use them too. You must know how to draw and use paint properly prior to using a projector. A projector is only a tool and it cannot paint for you or save you from lack of artistic skill--the projector just saves time. You can try it. Try using a projector and see if that helps you understand how to be a painter and create a painting such as this.
