The lyrics of this song are from a letter the singer's ex-girlfriend wrote to him when they broke up.

I didn’t know that but that’s kinda savage how he turned it into a song and it was a banger lmao

This was in an episode of Daria. Great song. That beat. That sound. Penetrates to the core.

    Not a violin. A trumpet. Sampled from a 1932 song. 😊

Oh yes...this composition was so unique in its delivery . Funky Bass, Star Wars bits interpolated with a crunchy drum beat well done..Hats off to Jyothi.. Thanks for sharing 👍

It's actually a sample of "My Woman" by Lew Stone and the Monseigneur Band, and not Star Wars. But they sound kinda similar, now when you've said it haha

Its good beat,a good melody, but the text, sung by a man is confusing as you guys are into in your analysis of the song...lyrically its hard to make sense of it in a way,the main thing I at least, take away from this song is the melody that I do like.

That part of the song mentioned in the review sounds like something from the Little Rascals. I'm pretty sure of it.

      or The Three Stooges.

If you mean the trumpet sample, it comes from the song 'My Woman' by Al Bowlly (the same guy who sang Midnight The Stars And You, the song that closes Stanley Kubrick's The Shining).
