FLORIDA JUNE 2024: Celebration, Universal Orlando, Disney Springs drone show & Summer House STEAK!

- Join me and Laura on Day Three of our June 2024 Orlando Florida Holiday! We start off heading straight to Celebration Town for a Starbucks Coffee by the lake, enjoying some stunning views. We then head to Universal Orlando Resort to Universal Studios park, riding The Mummy, Rock It Rollercoaster and the Hogwarts Express across to Islands of Adventure. We also managed a ride on Hagrids Magical Motorbike Adventure!
After a short break we head for dinner at Disney Springs, getting a walk up reservation at Summer House by the lake. I tried a Magyu fillet steak for the first time, before we did some shopping at World
Of Disney, Under Armour and Sephora!
To round off another amazing day we watched the brand new drone show- Dreams That Soar!

"Britts have to travel the furthest"...😂😂 . Next year, my husband and i are travelling from Perth Western Australia. Looking at 3 flights and about 40 hours travelling time !!! After spending an eye watering $30,000 there is no way I'm buying genie + or lightening lanes. I'm not going to spend my time stuck on my phone, stomping from one side of the park to the other just to avoid a queue. I intend to make memories because I'm as sure as hell i will not be able to afford to go again 😅😊

Not looked at the prices for a few years now but we found a great option for Express Passes was to book a room in the Royal Pacific hotel. Was the cheapest hotel offering free Express Passes for the duration of your stay at the time.
Stayed two nights, got Express Passes for three days plus had all the other perks of staying onsite (early entry, boat shuttle, etc)
Thank you for the new upload. Got some bad news yesterday so it’s lovely to watch your videos because they are so long & I can just switch off and enjoy myself for the time being. Personal favourite moment was Laura loving life in Sephora 😊

I laughed so much on how long you complained about the cold crepes 🤣🤣. Think about it….if you fill a warm crepe with cold cream and cheese, what’s going to happen? It’ll all melt into liquid and run out of the bottom. The crepes only stay warm when you put a warm filling into them…like the savoury ones do.

Loving your Orlando vlogs. Very informative and you say it how it is, giving you honest opinion. I like the way you vlog in the car and we can see all the chaos on the roads. We have been going to Orlando for years and it is certainly getting worse; loads of bad drivers on the roads we have had so many near misses. Regarding the changes to the park tickets, I agree with Laura and it looks as though they don’t want overseas visitors. We were thinking of going to Orlando again this year but will look now to get another holiday destination.

My husband and I have the premiere annual pass and your right that it does start at 4 pm. But, it's not unlimited express. It's 1 time per participating attraction. Keep up the great work. Love your videos!

Love the valet parking but it's so expensive, definitely a huge perk & huge saving to upgrading! 😀 Love the parks in the evening, so would make use of the express passes on those days. The extra 5% discount would soon add up as well 😀

I was there end of April until mid-May…and it was a brilliant month to be there. I hit the sweet spot between the end of Easter and before the start of the US school summer holidays. I was there for 18 days and it only rained twice (last two day) and the parks were very quiet, got everything done at Disney and Universal.

French pavilion in Epcot does the best crepes and can also confirm they come warm 🤭😍😍

Annoying about the international guest booking lighting lanes but from what I've read it's about GDPR. But you can get around it really easily with Android, VPN and a fake GPS app. I also expect them to not release all the lightning lane allocations immediately. Release some 7 days before, some at 3 days and then some on the day, just like Genie+.
Lot of people overreacting though thinking it will have any impact to Disney, it won't. The parks are way too popular and you don't even need LL to have a good time, just good planning and managing expectation.
61 days and we'll be back to celebration on our first morning. 😁😁

If you really want to try Gideons but not wait in line. The original is in downtown Orlando area and not far from the beautiful Leu botanical gardens! Not too busy and it’s in like a little market that features other small business owners.

I wonder if the new rules for fastpass are just whilst they initially roll it out, and once they have ironed any issues, they will make it easier for international guests. Could be wrong but just a thought.

New watcher and loving the vlogs, been 6 times to Orlando since I was little and still learning something as it’s always changing and we don’t go very often. Just with the subject of Universal annual passes…is it worth one member of party getting one purely for the included parking?

@@claresharpe9424 cheapest option could be to book 1 night at one of their deluxe hotels. You get express pass for everyone in the room the day of check in and the day of check out. You’d have to have park passes though.
Agree about fast pass, just put it all back to standby, all the lines would be faster, the nickel and diming by Disney is painful.
Like the addition of the mics, but need to turn the gain down, the sound keeps blowing out.

Enjoying the videos in the run up to our trip in Aug! Can not wait to get back out there. Didn't think universal let you use phones on the rides, have they changed their policies? Would be great to get the go pro on some rides.
We love winter park more than celebration lol lots of boutiques and restaurants! The farmers market is small it’s on Saturdays ! Great vlog even though I’m not keen on universal to be fair ! I had a major fallout with them and haven’t been back since ! I still refuse to pay for fast passes ( genie plus) at Disney ! It’s all about the money at Disney I’m afraid ! I’ve been a dvc owner since 2003 and they have slowly eroded our perks since covid !
Genuinely feel universal have Disney running scared, epic universe big updates to universal and a potential UK theme park
