Hi Patty, I love this design! It’s probably one of my favorite techniques to create a watercolor wash! I love your color choices! I’m definitely going to try this with the Changing Leaves set! Thank you for the inspiration!
Fun video, really enjoyed it. I used you idea of the trees for Christmas cards with the gold note cards. Made 20 of my interpretation for this year-thank you.
I love these ways to step up an already beloved watercolour wash technique. Gorgeous cards! I will be trying with these colours and this bundle (when it arrives) but already have ideas swirling of other sets and colours I want to use it with. Thank you! 🍂💛🧡🍂
Another way you could use up the inks left on you glass mat, rather than wiping it away and wasting perfectly good ink . . . you could pick up your watercolor paper and gingerly, or more purposefully, dip it into that leftover ink on your glass mat, change direction and dip the paper into another (or the same color ink but just in a different spot) of the leftover inks, this technique is called smooshing, I believe - where the cardstock is dipped - "smooshed" - in the leftover ink on the glass mat, rather than it being laid into the ink to soak up. Exactly as you did during your demo of going into the leftover ink with the embossed examples.
I love the tip about stamping the leaf to create a background with the ink on the glass mat!
OMG!!! The raised portion picking up the ink is mind blowing!! Will play with this new spin on a beloved technique tomorrow. Thanks!!! ❤

Dear Patty, I noticed that you have embellishment dots on two of the stamp pads. Is that for a particular reason?
yes, I put them on the In Colors.. you can see that tip here: th-cam.com/video/Y06EWV_0pxI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tMaE3Uz1CiB90NgL&t=619
@@pattystamps Thanks so much for the info, the TH-cam reference, AND your quick response. Love your classes.
