Humic and Fulvic acid have a close relationship in your soil, but what are they and what do they do? In this segment of Ag PhD, Brian and Darren Hefty give you the inside scoop about humic an fulvic acid.
So interesting. I've noticed this in the human body too. Friends who are super fit, have a good diet etc haven't really noticed much of a benefit when taking fluvic acid, whereas friends who are unhealthy, have a poor diet, not that fit have said it's been great and an energy booster for them.
5% organic matter is a farmer's dream. 3.5% is good. 4% is great. No need to go to 5. Humic acid is not organic matter. I don't care what you say. Better to add dry fine organic matter and till. Pharmacy grade Fulic Acid is best. Love you Omar

You missed a perfect opportunity to educate the public. Put the word out there and list those companies that are making a quality humic or fulvic product. The problem with this stuff is the claims always hook you in . You spend a lot of money and time on the product and then you scratch your head wondering if you just locked into another conspiracy theory. You touched on applicability quite well but please provide the field trials to show efficacy. I’m personally disappointed with your presentation as I’m more than willing to field trial with a legitimate product but I refuse to spend any more $ on crap
There was a legit study done by a Dept of the Canadian Gov at the Sunderland Research Station, it did show results in their field trials, it can be found online, I've visited the site, as we spend summers a few miles from there, Leonardite is also available in the Southwest, as it is in British Columbia close to it's source.
@ that’s laughable. An acre is 43560 square feet. Do the math . 64 oz per 43560 square feet is equivalent to taking a probiotic. U could never show any repeatability at those extremely low rates. Does Loveland provide any sort of published data. If so I’d love to see it
@@bluejay3945 there’s tons of data to support it. You have to realize the efficiency of having it in furrow or 2x2 as well as the other benefits you get as far as fertilizer efficiency. It’s the same philosophy as being able to grow a 250 bu/ac corn crop using 180 lbs of fertilizer even though your lab tells you that you need 230lb N. The lab bases everything off low efficiency broadcast fert applications and doesn’t take into account of having a starter fertilizer program and or the farmer putting N through the pivot.

Blackmax 22 from Loveland products is a great product. 1/2 gal per acre minimum but ideally 1 gpa in your starter fertilizer blend is ideal
