I love more manufacturers are putting the quick disconnect cables. It's brilliant and I think (and hoping) it'll become a standard. It makes life SOOO much easier!
You know what Big Guy?! I like your videos! I live in Bulgaria and i applausing you for doing what you do, no metter that your channel is not so popular like other similar channels. No metter what ill keep my eye on your videos and wishing you all the best. Best regards from Bulgaria 🎉
Great review Tim. What a smart idea to cut some cost by using mechanical brakes + regen in order to include the quick-disconnect motors and still keep the price low. This is the only way it's acceptable to still use tubes in 2023/2024 (as long as it's also a split-rim design). I'm also loving the metallic colour-anodized throughout so there's no paint to chip. I have to say though, the stem looked really low for you, to the point where it seems unsafe. At 6'2" this would be a dealbreaker for me unfortunately. When are Chinese manufacturers going to get wise that North American customers are usually a lot taller?
Hi Tim, there aren't many reviews on the Splach Thunder, so thanks for doing this. I wanted to check if you did a range test for it. Is says 31-37 miles. It has a 52v, 15.6ah battery which is one of the biggest in this price and power range, so I would guess at 800w dual motors it could get in the low 20s.
the range on their website is a lie.... unless you use it as a xiaomi. disable turbo, disable dual motor, limit the speed to 30. i wouldn't advice buying this scooter...
👉I just wanted to say that I really enjoy reviews, because I'm 62 and 300 lb, not like the other reviewers who are short little dudes that are scrawny and skinny. For instance, you always mention if the handlebar height is tall enough for someone that is 6 ft plus. I'm looking to purchase the solar scooter, out of the solar FF light or the solar P1 pro. Have you done any reviews on the solar scooters??
Awesome to hear from you @firstinlastout, I haven't tried Solars before...I have reached out to them but I'm guessing my channel isn't big enough for them to send me a review unit :(...at 6'2" I would definitely test ride a scooter...put it in a braking situation and see what it's like ..not just for height but weight too...stay safe and thank you :)
Ok Tim, I know you do kind of light reviews but still have a few questions. The tire you replaced was it split or the "puncture resistance" was inadequate? I'm assuming it was tubeless? 52 volt vs 48 volt. assuming allows more power to be used or less overheating under load? No mention of the suspension which is a rubber bushing type. since you were maxing out the weight limit were you bottoming out the suspension or riding low where you hardly had any travel? Couldn't find a decent picture of the control set up/handlebars not even on their website. Guess still waiting on more info for this.
Awesome @tomprevost2477, thanks for your questions :) If you send me an email I can send you a photo of the setup :) The tire was a split rim...and I suspect it was a pinched flat (sometimes called a snakebite) The reason was that it wasn't properly inflated and it was squeezed against the rim. My mistake :) Yes the 52V has more power but not massively different (52 to 48 only 4 volts) 60V would be a big difference. You're right and the follow-up on the scooter will mention the suspension...I liked it...smooth ...no issues :) Thanks for watching :) Cheers Tim
Aye tim! make review on the new nanrobot LS7+ 72 volt model that scooter looks so good even better at night time the lighting & maybe that new nanrobot N6 72 volt model says goes like 50 mph weighing about 80 some pounds. I think they both now come with KKE type adjustable knob suspension more comfortable then that standard coil shock absorber that you adjust with coil spanner 🔧
@@TimsElectric has more range too stated to go 81 miles but not sure if that's accurate. The one that's a 60volt is pretty pathetic unacceptable for the price range to for the mileage of 45 miles.
first of all that sucks so sorry to hear :( @blacksunaccounts, that's a good question....it would depend on budget, power...what you're using it for etc :) maybe message me through my website :)
Awesome @AlanClelland, but sadly if I posted a tire change video it would get almost no views which sadly negatively impacts the channel and the range test is done in the second video later once I've had time on the unit to test it out thoroughly. At that time I'll have a range test and expectations of the unit...things I like and don't like....it's the way I roll :)

Awesome @hyperscootershop, thanks for stopping by to watch the video and leave a comment :) Hope sales are going well for you :)
Hey, I tried to order this scooter from their website but they won't deliver. Is there a problem with their website? No address works.
sorry to hear @philmiller5081, I'd send them an email or call them for sure ...maybe their website isn't working and they don't know :)
Excellent review, thank you.
Awesome @jayparker393, appreciate the feedback...I do love making these videos :)

Awesome @JulianRides, I need to check it out..I was disappointed with the first Nanrobot I tried....72V sounds like a blast though

How does this scooter do on the "hill of death"?
I forgot to do it :) @hammerthor8259, it would be no problem for it :)
Do you get to keep these scooters or do you buy them to do the reviews
depends on the company :)
@@TimsElectric thank you for the reply!
you're welcome :)
Great review .
Glad you enjoyed it! It was fun to make :) @UDX-340,
Say you theoretically weighed 478 pounds, would this scooter be acceptable?
I don't think so @mason6300, I wouldn't want to risk the extra lbs :)
Speed?
With me about 50 Kph @boogaboo9851 :)
@@TimsElectric True, I hit 60 on Dual Motors :D
this one actually seems to have lot better gas button than Splach mukula that i got
Interesting @oprelia-ai ....I just love riding around on these machines....like surfing :)
I want to see video of your 8 minute tire change 😂
Post your range or its just a infomercial.
