    You need more separation between the speakers to get the best stereo effect. I have a 6 speaker setup with 2 subs. Running Yamaha speakers and 2 HSU 15 inch subs. My amp is inside the house and I just use a Harmony screen remote to control my Denon amp, projector, Bluray player and streaming box for football, fight nights and movie night.

      Thanks for the comment. At this time, the original Pyle died. My wife decided to do some pressure washing in the area and did not remove it. The next day it did not work. I replaced it with another Pyle that was $35. Going strong again.

    I know you can't hear it but... I LOVE YOUR ACCENT! ...JUST LOVE IT! My question is when do you use a receiver vs a mixer vs an amplifier. I'd love to have music in my backyard but I do not understand all I would need.

    • @joshdoesreefing7241
      @joshdoesreefing7241  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you very much for the comment!
      I am not an expert in this area, but here is my understanding. Receivers have the amplifier and mixer/equalizer built in. The better the receiver, the more power and better sound quality options you get. If you are really wanting to do some fine tuning, you can opt for a mixer to really dial in your music, but this isn’t something I have ever been into. Even the higher end receivers I have owned used presets for a mixer that varied by the type of music you are listening to. With an amp, the more power you have, the louder the music and the more speakers you can have.
      Hope that helps and makes sense!

    How would you add in two speakers with this equipment, it only has two avail speaker outputs?

    • @joshdoesreefing7241
      @joshdoesreefing7241  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It only has the two outputs. I am not sure that it would handle 4 speakers. You may be able to run two off each port, but not sure if it would handle it or burn it up.

    Is your TV hooked up to your receiver?

    • @joshdoesreefing7241
      @joshdoesreefing7241  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is not. I didn’t really have a need for the TV to be connected as it has internal speakers that work well enough for the area. The receiver is just for music. It is just connected to the satellite radio and has Bluetooth if needed.

      Will you are absolutely correct and they are not rated for outdoors, the tv has been out there since 2017 with no issues. The receiver is the same. But that is the whole reason I bought such a cheap receiver. It can be replaced cheap and disposable. I wouldn’t put an Onkyo or Yamaha out there for sure.

      @darillfow 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joshdoesreefing7241 Ah ok wow I’m surprised about how long it’s been out there. I had figured the moisture from weather rain 🌧 would have ruined it after only a few months.

    • @joshdoesreefing7241
      @joshdoesreefing7241  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes sir! I once would have thought the same. Years ago I went to WildWings and sat outside in the covered area and they had TVs everywhere. I asked about them being outside and was told they were just standard led TVs. I went to Bestbuy and bought a cheaper 55” LED flat panel and mounted outside at my deck in 2015. No issues by 2017 when I put the pool in and it is still working to this day also. So I felt comfortable putting one at the pool. I do cover it in the winter with a outdoor tv cover. But that is all I do.

      Flat screen Vizio outside on my Lanai here in crazy humid Florida since 2017 as well and zero issues with it, other than Vizio's interface sucks! I prefer Roku and should just hook a Roku box up to it
