For your Toyota, you should not have air in the radiator when you're done. Put extra coolant into the funnel so it doesn't suck it all down. Otherwise it will draw coolant from the reservoir and you will need to refill that over the next couple of days. That's not a problem if you remember to do it, but for a shop it's necessary to get it buttoned up before you give it back to the customer.
There will be a little spill when you remove the funnel, because there is coolant below the plug. Use a few towels wrapped around the filler when you remove it.
