Tip: It needs twin headlights to even be legal in NL! That would be good for visibility anyway.
Have you considered to sell the 25 km/h version with the option of upgrading it after homologation to the 45er version?
Great project! ... and have you checked for any kind of govermental funding? CZ or EU?

I didn't quite follow the Rohloff grip shift change. Was it a shorter cable as the main change? (I have the Rohloff via a tiller on my Hilgo, and it works, but the shifting isn't super crisp).

Washington State law does not allow four wheel bicycles, I expect other states have similar archaic regulation that will have to evolve to allow these super evident vehicles on our roads and bike trails.
Will the VM 45 be available in the USA and if so, will that availability be at the same time as it will be ready for sale in Europe? Also, what is the projected retail price?
Way too early for these questions🙂 Prototyping and lots of testing for Stephane to do before any production and pricing talk. We'll be watching closely with interest.

I don't care how fast and go under power if you still got petals and you still pedal is bicycle electric-assist motor do a bicycle if you pedal if it should be classified as anyting it should be crushed by this electric or gas scooters that you don't need license to drive say hello on that one just have to be legal for the road with blinkers and tail lights and headlights but you can get a scooter you don't have to have license to drive it in the moped is a motorized bicycle but you don't need license to drive it either it's still legal for the road as a moped bike but this like you're talking about if you got a pebble and elf it it's still bicycle don't matter if you go 45 or 85 under power it should be listed as a bicycle no matter what this is how I see it I wish you people would fight for the right to have your bicycle under power electric-assist were still be legally a bicycle it just a superhero DC superhero powers more speed under power help Yukon hills probably the elf and Pebble they didn't give enough power steep grade heels it will go partly up and then back down which makes it more dangerous giving it more powerkeep it safe for the writer cuz one big as a floor they wanted for those things and I was disgusted at the price those keeping me from riding a bike so I found a guy that made it homemade trike but it was too low to the ground and steering steering column is flimsy it's not turning the wheels when you're on the but turns with you are not on the put a stick you're flying up 5 playing clean your freaking legs you got to be a freaking monkey to drive this thing that had hand cranks pedaling cranks and had feet cranks and a stick tween your legs you have to have three armed Newton to be able to drive this thing did not have three but that what it would have took to peddle this thing and steer this I took the hand crank off always thought that was stupid anyway the bikes that's all with those type of setup are the truck I had was supposed to be recumbent bike trike I just want to make it with electric assist l-shaped old man with already measure hips arthritic pain groceries when I gave up writing years ago I spent years missing writing a bike I dearly loved it so much to find that I could not do it anymore life crushing and heartbreaking

Hi Stephane, really great project! I see chances for the pedelec version as well, as long as you can go faster than 25km without hinderance of the motor. I would see a great USP if you would add the capability of being able to transport a passenger in the back from time to time. With 4 wheels it should be possible. Otherwise I dont see a great plus against the Pony4. Also maybe then make the upper cabin wider for a more car like "roomfeeling" and better ventilation. Like that the design could be more attractive for people looking forsuch a kind of "Mini-electric car"🥸🚴♀
