So I was thinking about the mainline why not have a small short suburban service pulled by a tank engine on it? (Your choice obviously on what to do) but just food for thought and I think it would work well having a small suburban train again your choice
Hi. Thanks very much for your ideas. Always for to get input from others. It could certainly be possible to have tank engines on the main line. It has two tracks each way with the outer lines intended for stopping services and the inner two for fast services. I do need to put some thought into line itself though such as how many stops there will be and will it be 4 tracked all the way. And there's the scenery. The branch line has lots of hills and mountains. What can the main line have to make it look interesting? A lot of thought needs to go into that one. There will also be one other line on the route that isn't started yet. A single tracked coastal line connecting the ends of the main line and the branch line. This 100% will be tank engine only. Lots of little villages along a windy coastal route connecting the two.
Been thinking of ideas today. I love the idea of a little tank engine on the main line. I think it'll turn off down a new branch line maybe half way down. I have a special idea for the branch line which I won't let on right now. But to make this work because of the speed distance between it and other larger engines running down the main line it might mean I ditch the current session and create a time table. Never done this before but it could allow for an interactive sessions to be added.
