Yes if you squat while breathing in and holding your tummy in than you should feel it. If you want ab workouts I would suggest the workout where you sit behind the machine and pull the seat down with your arms. It’s like a sit down crunches. They have TH-cam videos on an workouts! It’s effective!

I make sure the seat is adjusted for when you put your heals on the paddle and squat that your shape is 90 degree angle. And make sure your back is straight up right. Try not to focus too much on gripping the handle so hard when you squat. If you allow your legs to pull you up than you will feel the burn in the booty! 😝

I drink celery juice every morning and eat two eggs, yogurt and a banana everyday. Smoothies vary but I like to incorporate protein to everything. Make sure to eat protein. Lots of it! Drink lots of water. I eat around1800 to 3000 calories per day :)
I hope it last for awhile cause I plan to use it for a long time. But I guess we will see. I notice it move from side to side if you don’t balance but for now that’s about it :)
I believe it tones the whole lower body when squatting. And upper when standing and pushing down on the seat. You can also sit on the floor behind the seat and pull down which also works great on upper body. I would check out the dB method TH-cam channel for specific exercises on toning hamstrings. My whole goal is to grow a butt. 🤓
Thanks for sharing this review. I know your intentions were well. But it would have been more helpful if you took all measurements with your feet together. So we can see more accuracy. For ex; the last measurement it appears that your feet were wide apart a few inches which may be the reason why the measuring tape seem to increase a few inches. So as a friendly suggestion. When you measure try to stand with feet completely together. for consistency and accuracy. But it does seem like a good review. Thanks for sharing.

your heals are supposed to be on their not your arches... just saying there is a specific method of placement for maximum results. if you watch the getting started with the DB Method you will learn the correct placement of your body parts. Which is why her quads are burning instead of her entire BUTT...
It can be for both. If you are trying to lose weight I would say not to use any weights just your body weight. Doing this for at least 20 minutes a day consecutively will burn calories and will promote weight lose.
Try positioning the seat to where when you squat down all the weight is on the heals. This will help work out all of your backside. Your seat might be too close

Hello Brandy, I bought this machine and after the installation I see the machine is not sturdy. The bar that connects to the seat is very loose( kind of more movement from left to right) I don't know to to explain exactly. 😣 the bar is not supposed to move left to right . It is supposed to be straight up and attached to the seat. Don’t know how it is possible that it is moving left to right when it is a pump and bar that is attached together. It is broken if that is the case. 😟
