For those uncertain of what the last scene is, it's a column of hearses being escorted down what is known as the Highway of Heroes, which is a stretch of highway which connects the Airforce base in Trenton Ontario, where the planes coming back from overseas with the bodies of Canadian soldiers land, to Toronto where the military coroner's office is. When a motorcade comes by it is almost always the case that people line up on the overpasses and salute the fallen heroes as they ride past. There is also a famous song about it with the same name if you're interested.

Doing these, each and every time my eyes water and my heart explodes with pride, with gratefulness to the Canadian Army and to our allies. Your limitless courage, and your selflessness I will never really know but will ALWAYS cheer from the sidelines.
During a joint Canadian Infantry and US Marine Corp exercise at CFB Wainright, Alberta a Canadian Infantry officer was approached by a higher-ranking US Marine Corp officer and the two saluted each other. The US soldier saluted first. A class-act from him showing respect to the excellent soldiering abilities of the lower-ranking Canadian officer.
You men and women who give of yourselves 150% every damn day and night are the very best. Thank you for helping to keep us safe and advancing the cause of freedom.
