Hi Chad, not sure if your going to read this, but I love watching your videos in the background as I sort through my dolls, style their hair, etc. You have such a great positive energy and a cheery vibe to your videos which I love. Kinda inspired to post more videos maybe of some doll hunts, but filming around other makes me kinda nervous. What really drew me into your videos was the Disney doll reviews at Disneyland. I thought that was a really fun concept of the vlog and the journey to get the dolls and the nostalgia of Disneyland in the background. I haven't been on doll youtube for a minute so I'm catching up with all the releases. I knew about these dolls and thought wait Chad probably reviewed them, the king of disney doll reviews and I was so happy when I saw your ILY doll playlist currently going and watching every video. Hope your doing fantastic.
I love your idea of making her into an Alice In Wonderland!! I have always been in love with the story of Alice in Wonderland!!I have wanted to create my own Alice in Wonderland dolls. I haven't been able to decide on what doll to use but now I think I want to use this Jasmine inspired doll, so thank you so much for mentioning that! Your videos are great!! I love the quality of these new dolls and the quality of their outfits. I want to buy them all but I have to buy them when my budget allows it. I do like this casual outfit that the doll comes in too. I really love the tiger print used on the denim shorts.
These unboxing videos have been such a treat!! Thank you so much for taking the time to go into detail and give us your thoughts. After watching just one of your videos, I decided to take the leap and order two of the dolls (so far, LOL). You are wonderful - thank you!!
I will be receiving my first ily4ever fashion pack for these doll… I got the Rapunzel set. Hope these fit the dolls I want them to because I do really like them. I hope you continue with the rest of the fashion packs and accessory packs soon.
I'm sorry you got so many doubles. I feel your pain. 🤕 I opened Ariel, Tiana, Cinderella, and Jasmine hoping for the Mickey Waffles. As weird as it may sound the only reason I bought my fourth (and last) doll (Ariel) was to spin the wheel again in hopes of getting the Mickey Waffle. I didn't get the Waffles, but I did get a double of the pink Macrons. I'm kinda bummed out, and tempted to just return the Ariel doll (which I really didn't want that much in the first place), and repurchase a fresh one off the shelf to try again. I wish the balloons were slightly transparent so you could kinda make out what treat is inside. At $30 a pop I can live without the blind box "surprise" gimmick. lol Oh, well . . . Since they were $30 each I thought they would come with their own stands like $26 Rainbow High, and OMG doll do, but they didn't so I can't stand them on my Disney shelf. I wish I could at least sit them on the edge of my Disney shelf, but I can't because their legs just pop off when I try to sit them down flat. I just ended up putting them in a large shoe box for now. 🎁
Here’s a life hack tip for you. Just keep returning them until you land the treat you actually want. It worked for me. I returned like five of them to the store before I got the treat I wanted. Don’t give up.
Both Jasmines look so pretty!! I can't wait to see your review of the Jasmine fashion pack, I got the Jasmine fashion pack and my ily doll looks beautiful in it!
Just catching up on these dolls and fadhion packs. I don't know how I have avoided them so far as a hige Disney fan. I feel like Im coming out if the Barbie cycle right now and looking for a new line. They are adorable.
I actually bought the princess tiana inspired doll, mine didn't have the smudge. I love these dolls, But I also love barbie and rainbow high and lol omg and other doll lines. This one however is a favorite of mine because the way I dress everyday is similar to disney bounding LOL OMG. It just is how I like to dress. I first bought the 18 inch ones as the fact they had big inset eyes was very different to american girl.
Today I took an Inspired by Jasmine ILY 4EVER doll and put a new Mattel Belle head on her, then dressed her in the Belle outfit and she looks INCREDIBLE! The skin tones are pretty close to matching too!
NOOOOOO! Macarons!!!!! 😤 I’m hoping to get at least one over here though. I LOVE your concept of putting the actual princesses in their inspired by outfits. Kind of a take off on the comfy princesses who I love. I will be promptly doing this
I really like putting the Disney princesses in casual clothing and I want to get a second set of the classic dolls just to put them in their fashion packs LOL. But that will be so expensive so it will have to be overtime gradually LOL
i am so over it for you about the macaróns. i'm sorry about that. i was really hoping for a Dole Whip because i have never seen (or even tasted) one before, and it would have been a treat to see your excitement.
Aw, I'm so sorry for the constant quadruples! I agree they should make the balloons blind bags for easier access OR maybe have each character have a higher chance at two of all the surprises so at least you know what you *might* get.
I agree! I think they should keep the surprise element because I like it, but there is enough treats that they could do two or three treats possible for the Jasmine doll, two or three different treats for the Snow White doll, a possibility of two or three different treats for the Cinderella doll, etc... Oh well
Thank you for the review. You popped up in my feed and I love your channel and subscribed. I love that you are closer to Disneyland than Disneyworld. For me it is always Disneyland, so I am thrilled they show the castle. I bought her at Disneyshop online after you showed her, I also got her extra Jasmine clothes pack. I absolutely love her. I mixed and matched the clothes. I was surprised how well made the clothes are done, even though you said so. Heads up the fashion clothing packs are now 14.95 at the Disney store online. My mind is thinking to turn her shorts into harem pants if I can find some gold or lilac or lavender organza type fabric. My only sad point is her hair has so much product in it that it is so stiff, so I think they overdid it with her. Can one wash it out? Can the hair be boiled washed? I am use to fixing up the Animator Collection dolls (a huge lesson in patience, boil wash several times helps) or American Girl dolls as I rescue dolls. Sorry about the many macaroon I got the pretzel. We should have trades, some people are selling the treats on mercari, lol.
Oh heads up I did wash her hair to get the product out of her hair. I only did a hold the hairs under the faucet short with hot water, it actually held the water so needed a towel. I then brushed her hair and it still has curls but so silky shiny and the ends brush into a curl around my finger, I have a boar bristle brush I use for dolls only. I am planning to do a proper boil wash sometime.
We're just about the same age, Chad. i think i was 7 or 8 when my father took me to see Aladdin. You're so right about that being a sweet spot. It's funny though. i went to see all of the renaissance movies as a child, but only a handful stuck with me through adulthood. "The Little Mermaid', "Beauty and the Beast" and "Aladdin" are movies that i can still enjoy as an adult. .. maybe "Hercules", too. i haven't seen "The Lion King", 'Pocahontas", "Mulan" or "Hunchback" in maybe decades and i don't miss them, either. How are you with Disney films? Are there some that you just love and others you just ignore? Oh, and i wanted to thank you for the inspiration. i recently bought the Snow White-inspired doll and felt like she needed a companion in my collection because i have zero Disney dolls. i thought she would need another ILY friend, but then i saw what you did with the Disney Store Classics Snow White doll and i couldn't believe that i never thought of that! This is a perfect start to my Disney doll collection. i'm feeling that maybe i should get Jasmine next. She is absolutely gorgeous! It's probably the most beautiful Jasmine doll that i have ever seen.
I definitely love the Disney films. I don't hit any of them but some of the ones from the sixties in particular I didn't care for as much. Specifically "Aristocats" and the first "Rescuers" movie (I love "rescuers down under" it's one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid). There are also some other obscure ones that I don't watch that often like the Black cauldron which just are my favorite, but other than that I love pretty much all Disney movies.
Hi! I'm dying to see your last treat, hope it's not a double! 🍩🍭🥨 I'm making some of these treats out of polymer clay, with a handle so that your dolls can hold them ✋🍬. I've just posted a crazy video of how I made some Ily 4EVER inspired headbands! I hope I can post some new treats soon... Thanks for this week!!! 🎬❤️📽️
@@ChadMarvelous OMG thank you so much! I've just received a notification that you shared my video, WOW thank yooouuu! I'll check it when I finish watching your video, I don't want to ruin your retention! 😆 Thank you SO MUCH Chad! 💋🥰❤️
I'm obsessed with these dolls too (and I'm supposed to be a Barbie collector)! I do find them a lot more interesting than Rainbow/Shadow High (I have a few of those as well), and I hope they do just as well or even better. The Jasmin inspired doll has a slightly more "cartoonish" face than the others, imo, but done so in a beautiful way and I love it. I'm a brunette always drawn to dark haired dolls and it's one of the very few times that I love a blonde and blue eyed doll, and I think that's exactly because of her slightly cartoonish/animation - style facial expression, that makes her a lot more interesting and cuter than a classically beautiful blonde Barbie, for example. I was just wondering about the hair, because I watched your previous videos as well... Is there any way to protect it from becoming frizzy over time?
The only way I know to avoid frizzy polypropylene hair is to avoid playing with it too much or brushing it too much. Unfortunately overtime the more that you mess with polypropylene and move it around the more it will get frizzy and the ends will look not nice.
But polypropylene does take to heat pretty well so you can always fix it later if it does get frizzy by doing a boil wash or even use a hair straightener on a low setting, although I would do research before actually trying that and even doing a test strand in the back of the doll's head before trying it to make sure it doesn't melt the hair or burn it
@@ChadMarvelous thank you, I had no idea this type of hair could be fixed with heat. I was afraid it would become worse. Good to know there is a solution in case it gets bad over time! Looking forward to your next ily videos about the rest of the fashion packs- you really are my favourite reviewer of this line! Love your enthusiasm and all the info regarding Disney and the parks that you embellish your videos with. I've only been to Disneyland Paris, when I was a kid (I think it was the first year it opened!) and I remember even now, in my early forties, how magical it was and the amazing time I had. But I had no idea about all the different snacks you can get there (I suppose some may just be available in the US parks, and others I just didn't get to try when I was there), neither did I know about the concept of Disney bounding, so it was great learning about that. I'm hoping to take my kids to Disneyland this year and will give it a go at Disney bounding with them, and of course take our Ily dolls with to enjoy the park with us :)
i recently watched "Frozen" for the very first time. . .. i'm definitely not a "Frozen" fan, but i absolutely hate Olaf. Olaf is probably the most annoying comic relief character in Disney history. Second only to Mushu. Donkey from "Shrek" gets an honorable mention, but "Shrek" isn't Disney, is it??
