Each outfit has something special about it. There can’t be working pockets on short-shorts that bear sequins showing through the jean rips. In addition, she has a really cute over shirt. Her outfit is casual, made for a really hot day in Anaheim or Orlando and reflects this particular doll’s idea of how to pay homage to Jasmine. Just my perspective on these really well designed and manufactured dolls.
I think good names for the Jasmine doll would be Ali (like Prince Ali Abawa), Rajae (after Jasmines tiger, Rajah), Tajah (after the Taj Mahal which the sultans palace looks like), Jewel (because Diamond in the Rough), and Jeannie or Roybn (after Genie or even Robin Williams!) ^_^ I can't wait to get ILY Disney 4ever dolls. I have no idea how my mind just brushed over these dolls when they first came out, Disney Princesses are my everything and now closely looking at these dolls, I'm obsessed- Seeing how much personality they put into each one of the girls is so so cute to me, I love the designers different interpretation of outfits based on the characters, like how cool is it that Aurora gets a rock concert inspired outfit, so creative and cute. I haven't gotten any, but I will have alllll of them and the fashion packs soon
I love the little smirk of the Jasmine doll, I think she looks pretty and goofy at the same time which makes her adorable! I also really like her outfit, though I can't comment on quality cause I don't have her in my hands yet (she's on the way yay!). Just looking at vids and pics of her though, her outfit along with Snow White's and Tiana's were my favourite ones, mainly cause I love her shorts and teal shirt. I think the shorts, in particular, must be quite a costly item to produce because of the sequins detail. Lastly, I adore the tiny genie lamp charm on her bracelet. It's such a cute a detail!! Overall, she looks 100% on par with the other dolls of the line, to me at least (I hope I won't change my mind when I see her in person).
So far I have 4 of the dolls, and Ms. Jasmine-inspired is one of the 2 I wasn't in such a rush to get. I think because of what you mentioned: The outfit details just aren't as there as some of the other dolls. I'll definitely get her eventually, and I really am loving this line overall. They really do bring joy!
I wish they made a boy doll inspired by Peter Pan. I would definitively lose my head if it happen. XD
So I will just stay with the cute accessories packs (and maybe the fashion pack inspired by Mal... I mean, Aurora).
I'm just wondering, since the ily dolls seems to have bigger feet than Barbie, if the shoes can feet other dolls like Disney Descendants or Creatable World...
I love all 6 of this line. I’m thinking this one leans more fan-girl than Disneybounding, with Jasmine on the T-shirt. Not a complaint, just my observation.

These dolls have a chokehold on me. I have bought 4/6 and about 3 fashion packs so far. I hadn't planned on buying too many dolls cause Rainbow High and Monster High gave us a momentary breather in January and now this 😭 Thanks for reviewing them. I love these!
I'm no real TH-camr like ZombieXcorn but the hair quality isn't Polypropylene but a lower grade nylon. The product they use on the dolls make the hair dryer and often frazzled due to the factory styles but does indeed damage easy if you aren't careful. I wash out the product until it's completely free and brush through with a human sized brush and make sure not to comb through any tangles or resistance. The more you pull on the hair, the more it gets damaged. Even RH nylon can be damaged if you pull the fibres enough and it frizzes.
I love this line! I also adore the 18” dolls and accessories, but I have to be highly selective due to display space. I’m so excited about these smaller dolls because I can eventually display the entire line!
The faces in this line are wonderful. I'll probably get a few just for those fantastic faces. I don't care about Disney princesses, personally.
I think the budget clearly went to the headband and shorts. She’s not my favorite but I do notice the quality and the references to jasmine.

I love these dolls & haven't been this excited for a doll line in forever 😃 my 2 faves are this Jasmine & the Belle inspired doll 😍 I'm also in love with some of the fashion & accessory packs too 😎 I did buy my 2 faves but Jasmine I ended up returning because she had crossed eyes 😞 I will rebuy her when I see them in person since my Target had only one Snow White doll & nothing else 🤔

I Love all the girls and still am sad that we do not have the „Cinderella“ in Europe yet. Once she is available I will complete my collection.
I also love Jasmine‘s style. It’s simple but really cute! But her hair is aweful! I tried to wash it but was really gentle as I wanted to keep her locks… but therefore the hair still feels kinda cheap unfortunately. Nonetheless I love her. Hope more dolls will be released. Hoping for a red haired girl and a simple brown hair European looking girl so that I can make a mini-me 😆 Also totally would love some boys!
How about naming her Jessie? Just because it kinda sounds like a nickname for Jasmine.
I also struggled with my Jasmine's hair. It seems like it will frizz and tangle at the drop of a hat. I washed and boil washed it, and when it dried I put it into two "Jasmine" pigtails with multiple rubber bands, like her topknot. She didn't lose any curl at all, and now it won't tangle.
They are 11". I absolutely adore them!!!!!
I would love if they added the turkey leg or like made food accessory packs for the dolls. My family go to when we went to Disneyland was the turkey legs and chimichangas.

I just found her yesterday at Target the first time I’ve seen one in person. They only had two dolls so I’m still hunting❣️ I have to say that I think she’s so much cuter in person, I’m in love.💕
I recently got the Tiana inspired doll I am loving these dolls
I have no interest in buying ILY...but I think they are pretty good. The dolls are great with all the articulation and I like their faces and hair. The fashion is hit or miss and I think the Snow White fashion/doll is the one that impressed me the most.
I agree this doll's fashion is pretty boring. I feel like Jasmine's could have played with a crop top and baggy wide legs cargo pants to give a more y2k look. Or like harem pants are a thing...maybe something like urban streetwear like Sasha from Bratz or something like modern athleisure...idk.
The Jasmine fashion pack they released is much better, which makes me think they wanted to play it safer with the outfit on the inspired by Jasmine doll. They knew most folks wouldn't buy a fashion pack of this outfit lol.
The articulation of these dolls is just mediocre to awful .
Mediocre is the upper body , I with they would have double jointed elbows also they got not the upper torso joint like many other dolls got .
Awful is the lower body , they sit very strange (you need to search a video , it's hard to explain) it's impossible to put them in a doll car or doll bath tub .... the double knees are nice , but almost meaningless if they are not able to sit nice in a chair .
One other thing nobody is talking about is the balloon , the shape is weird and why is the backside flat ?
Hope they become available in Canada, we have no Disney stores or targets…and target won’t ship to Canada anymore,and Disney store is crazy priced for shipping

I’ve got the Snow White inspired one, I think I might only get a couple more and then get the fashion packs I’ll see 😂 which clearly means I’m getting them all
I think the budget went into the dolls themselves rather than the clothing and accessories. Good articulation ain't cheap! Also, I prefer the simpler outfits because who wants to wear a mini ball gown to an amusement park?!

Could you please make a video putting the fashions on other dolls, like Rainbow High or Ever After High? It would make this doll collector happy and not waste money on clothes that won't fit.

Disney bound for boys and men would focus on Prince charming of cinderella. Merlin of sword and the stone and his student Arthur. The father and the boy in nine lives of Thomasina The 53 live-action version of Robin Hood, Sean Connery's character, and Darby O Gill plus the little people. The crab is based on the little mermaid. The architect also based on 1001 dalmatians including Remake. The prince from snow white,.The spaceman, based on the more recent Disney cartoon, The frog and the prince after the frog is kissed, and so on. The sound of music sing-along in the Hollywood bowl did the same thing, but they all dressed up in the same costumes as the movie including two kids dress up as those curtains. They had a contest for the best costumes.
Jennifer might be a nice name. Or Elise. I ordered one of these dolls through Amazon but the delivery estimate isn't until next month, which is fine. Still cheaper for me to order through them than Disney.

Did you know that you can open the baloon without the scisors? You have to pull the plastic white cord on the bottom

I like them alot but they are too expensive for my budget.
I do find it odd that they gave them ear holes but no ear rings. Even if they were basic. Seems like cutting corner and I don't like that.

Set up would look so much better if all shelves were together and even.. maybe one extra shelf instead of the little table separating them ? I was too distracted by that to focus on the video

I got the inspired by Belle and Snow White, but I've been keeping my eye on this one in reviews too, because I just love the look of her, but I almost feel satisfied just looking at her than owning her, interestingly enough.
