In the 1980s Britannia, much smaller than they are now, bought that place during its conversion from a hospital into a hotel when the original developer went bust and finished the conversion themselves.
Oh that's very interesting. From what we saw in one day the conversion has been sensitively done and in our opinion the hotel doesn't seem to be as bad as it's reputation. Thanks so much for sharing that info and thanks for watching.
I stayed in a similar room there and thought it was great, the coach tour food wasn't though!
We didn't eat at the on site restaurant as we had read that the food wasn't great. But we did have a drink in the bar and thought the hotel was very good value for money.
It really looks lovely there and beautiful countryside all around. A couple of questions for you- How was the bed to actually sleep in? Was that £54 per person per night?

I stumbled across your video, but if you’re going to do videos about hotels, you need to know the basics. Headboards and other furniture are screwed onto the wall so you don’t steal them. Knowing some of the basics will keep you from saying inappropriate/ridiculous comments. And I’m sorry but that hotel is disgusting.

No, no other items of furniture were screwed down and if you were daft enough to try and steal that old headboard you'd need a big suitcase to fit in! Lol.
