This, to me, is what a true Christian looks and acts and lives like. 100%. He is not giving lip service, he is not lukewarm, he is RED HOT for God. We are told to stand apart, and stand out, and he certainly does. I watch testimonies now and then and at most of them I smile and nod and think "That was nice." Testimonies like this don't make any sense to me because it's like all they convey is that we should all just quit our jobs and just be full-time missionaries and not ever worry about anything and just fly by the seat of our pants and let God take care of it all. And I don't feel called to do that at all. But at the same time I can't stop thinking about it and I feel as though I am living my life solely to provide for my family and to be a good dad and a good husband. Isn't that my ministry? Isn't that enough? Ihave no desire for external Ministry at all. But I can't stop thinking about it because I feel like it's just what God wants me to do. But it doesn't make any sense to me to just drop everything and try to find a job in Ministry somewhere. I can't even talk to a random stranger at the grocery store and tell them about Jesus. I mean if someone asked me about Jesus and wants to know I'll be happy to talk to them for as long as they want but I just don't understand anything about being involved in Ministry. I just don't think that kind of passion is in me.
Where you work is your ministry. Everyone you get to know at your job are people you can pray for. The purpose of ministry is to connect people to God and it doesn't have to be a formal ministry position. In fact the purpose of church was originally to equip and disciple people to bring their faith into the market place.
Every Christian is called to ministry in some way, it's our life purpose. U may not be called to have a "career" in full time ministry as this man is. The only way to know is to serve and be obedient to God's voice. That's what he did. He served in America for a year and that is when he realized he was called to more. Find a good church and serve there, let Jesus do the rest.
1 Timothy 5:8: "But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers." I highly doubt that god would call you to quit everything by a vague feeling. People in the bible were usually not called by a feeling to do things. And a lot of people try to save souls somewhere while their own children fall short of everything. There are few things that are ungodlier than this. Your children are God's precious offspring. "Solely" is a horrible word here. Just tell God that until he truly reveals to you a plan for your live, you take beeing a good father and husband as his major will for your life. Bring them into the word, learn them how to pray, be kind and forgiving to them in any situation and don't mess up the way your kids see a father because you're gonna be the blueprint of how they see God. (hope this does not sound angry, Ican understand your thoughts...)

It's a bit far away but the only church in the South i know is called Gospel Forum. It's in Stuttgart. Just pray about it, God will lead you to the right church
hej michael, thanks for your and your wife's testimony. i am in a similar situation as your's in the way you met your wife. god already told me who my wife will be, for the last three years and on numerous occasions....... and she is the most unlikely woman to be my wife. i like her, but she has no feelings for me as far as i know. as you can imagen it's quite a special situation to be in and every now and then a bit difficult to trust she will be the one. but hearing testimony's like your's and hearing how amazing god brought you and your wife together gives me good hope one day it wil happen to me also. thanks for telling your story!

I can really relate to being raised in a wonderful believing family and being happy yet still falling into the same temptations he did as a teenager and like half praying to God that he will help me but not changing anything. James 4:4, you can't be of the world and God. Living in the world but not of it. Our home is in heaven. Testimonies from people who weren't raised with faith are so powerful, but this makes me feel so much more things and it should be talked about more.
Pray for me and my family please please 🙏 🙏 🙏 Im panicking, i cant keep my head straight no matter how hard i try and i pray. 😥 Were drowning in thousands of pesos debts from a loan shark and idk how im going to get it paid up before the month ends (our last deadline after more than a year or more of extension), knowing i dont have a stable job and barely making enough to put food on the table. Were really in so so much trouble rn, i feel like my heart will explode now that were nearing the deadline. 😢😢😢 Please pray that GOD make these debts disappear, our lives will surely be a little bit easier and i wont be out here looking like a spammer anymore begging for stranger's help. As a former atheist having lived through so much trauma as far back as I could remember; I was so cynical that God cared about me personally or that he cared for me individually. I used to severely insult and criticize God and his followers. I then told him that it would be good if there was a god but you don’t exist but if you are real then help me. Subsequently I started meeting Christian people who shared the gospel with me. They insisted that God wanted a personal relationship with people and that he loved me. I went to a church service and didn’t go up to the altar but I told God, if you can save someone like me then please save me. And He did!! He loves you and will help you in any way you need it. Amen 🙏🏾
Such a blessing and necessary for me today. I love God with all my heart and always move in purpose but He has had me in an isolation quiet season . I’m getting weary but I keep saying Lord I won’t stop pursuing you. Even when you are being quiet I believe your word. We overcome by the blood and our testimonies. I am encouraged. hej michael, thanks for your and your wife's testimony. i am in a similar situation as your's in the way you met your wife.
god already told me who my wife will be, for the last three years and on numerous occasions....... and she is the most unlikely woman to be my wife. i like her, but she has no feelings for me as far as i know.
as you can imagen it's quite a special situation to be in and every now and then a bit difficult to trust she will be the one. but hearing testimony's like your's and hearing how amazing god brought you and your wife together gives me good hope one day it wil happen to me also.

I can really relate to being raised in a wonderful believing family and being happy yet still falling into the same temptations he did as a teenager and like half praying to God that he will help me but not changing anything. James 4:4, you can't be of the world and God. Living in the world but not of it. Our home is in heaven. Testimonies from people who weren't raised with faith are so powerful, but this makes me feel so much more things and it should be talked about more.

Were drowning in thousands of pesos debts from a loan shark and idk how im going to get it paid up before the month ends (our last deadline after more than a year or more of extension), knowing i dont have a stable job and barely making enough to put food on the table. Were really in so so much trouble rn, i feel like my heart will explode now that were nearing the deadline. 😢😢😢
Please pray that GOD make these debts disappear, our lives will surely be a little bit easier and i wont be out here looking like a spammer anymore begging for stranger's help. Please pray that GOD send us a miracle. 🙏🙏🙏

I was so excited to hear your testimony and how God led you to your ministry and even Jessica, and now a baby. I am a believer also but almost 70 now. IF WE trust in Him, and allow Him to lead us…we can be happy while we are waiting for Jesus’ return. Praise The Lord
I have a hard time believing that God would want you to end up with someone that you don't have feelings for. I think it's kind of strange that they both had to basically pray to fall in love with each other.

As a former atheist having lived through so much trauma as far back as I could remember; I was so cynical that God cared about me personally or that he cared for me individually. I used to severely insult and criticize God and his followers. I then told him that it would be good if there was a god but you don’t exist but if you are real then help me. Subsequently I started meeting Christian people who shared the gospel with me. They insisted that God wanted a personal relationship with people and that he loved me. I went to a church service and didn’t go up to the altar but I told God, if you can save someone like me then please save me. And He did!! He loves you and will help you in any way you need it. Amen 🙏🏾
Such a blessing and necessary for me today. I love God with all my heart and always move in purpose but He has had me in an isolation quiet season . I’m getting weary but I keep saying Lord I won’t stop pursuing you. Even when you are being quiet I believe your word. We overcome by the blood and our testimonies. I am encouraged. Thank you for always sharing these testimonies. I always feel like there are not a lot of true believers who feel calling so strongly like I do. These testimonies make me feel like you get me.
