    We have this exact unit for a heat sealer. We are a little confused about how to configure the unit. We set our temps at 165F but if we use it too quick the unit drops to 120’s and doesn’t seal until we wait till it heats up again. We’d like the output to stay on longer or pulse more frequent. And we want the unit to stay a steady temp between 160-170 during operation. Any recommendations on how to adjust the values would be great.

      Good Morning. Are you controlling a on/off signal or a modulation valve for your heat supply?

      Nicholas Lees found out there was a break in the thermocouple wires. That’s fixed now and the unit is running great again.

      @@stepwellsoil85 Hi, I have similar problem with my L bar sealer. Please tell me how did you fix thermocouple wires? Buy new or how?
      Did you check the temperature on the heater and knife housing with a spirograph? I have a situation where, for example, it is 160 degrees in places and 60-70 degrees Celsius where there is no seal. I do not know if the heater is damaged or the thermocouple of this heater.
      The temperature is fairly stable on the second housing, the weld is correct. I will be waiting for a hint whether to replace the heater or thermocouple. Thank you.

      @@andrzej8296 it turned out my wire to the thermal couple ended up being broken. And when the unit was in motion it would lose connection and re heat up again. I’ve repaired the wire and now it’s working good again

    0:21 Where did you get that Omron electrical diagram, bud?

      It’s on the side of the controller. The electrical on the table is our own design for implementation.

    dO YOU NEED TO CONNECT THE THERMOCOPPEL BEFORE YOU GOOD PUT IN THE NEW SETTINGS ?

    • @nicholaslees6707
      @nicholaslees6707 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have the wrong parameter selected for IN-T and the thermocouple is wired it will only show the incorrect temperature. Thermocouples work on the principle of wire resistance detected and it will say s.err if no sensor is connected.

      That’s only needed If parameters are entered and you don’t want to search for which ones are changed.
