That's a gorgeous hunk of jasper! I wonder if they were successful turning it into a sphere? Do you suppose they might have had to stabilize it first? In spite of the little flaws the cab came out really beautiful. The shine is fantastic!
Where do you get your premade sterling settings? I ordered stuff from a place that used color instead of actual metal type to list their products and they were cheap metal in silver or gold colors. Thanks for putting out good content.

"Ocean Jasper" is actually a registered trademark. There are two different deposits of this kind of orbicular jasper, one from Marovato, and the other from Kabamby (not to be confused with kambaba jasper). Maravato Ocean Jasper is characterized by a dark green background and pale pink and white orbs, with druzy pockets, while Kabamby Ocean Jasper has a lighter green background or a mustard orange background with green rings and dark pink, orange, cream, and green orbs.
