Somebody the other day told me to repent because I said Jesus was not the real name of the Messiah.
4:00 Correction, the Hebrew word Adonai (not ba’al) is where the LORD comes from in place of the tetragrammaton YHWH in bibles… it became a custom to use this to avoid taking the Holy name in vain. Spoken we also are taught to say Hashem (meaning: the name)
It’s mind blowing that in hebrew school I never was taught His name. The tradition of not taking the name in vain oddly covered it up and it’s important we know it. I wonder why it happened this way, it seems supernaturally led. But now the name wants to be known, although I think people are saying it too casually, it should be respected, titles are fine when your heart knows what you mean, teaching the name is always fine. I don’t believe in getting into debates with other believers over the names of the Father and the Son. I can read Biblical Hebrew and I understand how the grammar rules work. I don’t put my trust into mens traditions and “rules”. If you choose to trust those rules that is your prerogative.
There are differences of pronunciation between Ashkenazi, Sephardic and Yemenite Jews. Yemenites use Temani Hebrew which retain older phonetic and grammatical features akin to the classical Hebrew tradition.
Each of the groups feature different Hebrew grammar and phonology. So which group is right?

I agree with you that God is actually a name. It’s just not the name of our Creator. I found out about it being tied to the fallen Makak Gadre’el when I studied the book of Enoch. We also see it used in reference to a false deity in the Hebrew of Isaiah 65:11.
As I am growing in my knowledge of the Hebrew language I have learned that Ba’al is a Title that can mean- Lord or Husband. And believe it or not “ Satan” is also a title that means Adversary. Satan is not a name!

Linguistics has become a stumbling block. But the Gospel was first preached to you in your native tongue (English) and you received it with gladness, calling upon the name of Jesus. Now it appears that you have left your first love in pursuit of knowledge (so called). Not once is the Son of God called Yehoshua or Yahuah in the (OLD Testament) Old Covenant, only Joshua, the son of Nun uses that name. I feel that this video is unnecessary if your understanding of the subject doesn't differ from what I realyed , because I've seen many videos like this but they have caused many to deny the name of Jesus Christ , Yeshua Christ and only refer to God using other titles.
