Especially if you wanna put consistent weight on your shelf, these tapes usually do a very bad job. You can use these type of hooks for hanging shower loofah or hairbrush or maybe a tower or two, but for hanging a shower caddy I’d suggest getting some sort of screw hooked to the wall. Glued hooks only work for small weight and they eventually fall off. Even suction hooks are usually not good enough to hold the weight of shower caddy.
