I was so excited when I saw this piece under a stack on the Goodwill shelf. I recognized it immediately andas a piece I had sold early in my thrifting career and quickly checked it over for chips and cracks. It was in perfect condition... lets go thrifting and find out what it is.

I can't wait until my next trip to Vegas to shop at Goodwill. My Goodwill is much harder to shop, since the hardgoods are on shelves over the clothes, so I have trouble even seeing them, since I am short, sitting down on a mobility scooter.

Tiffany it must feel good to shop in a GW that welcomes resellers and your camera as well as being able to use your gw quilt in the cart. What a difference! Danni and Kari had a joyful time shopping there as well.
Smart managers at that Goodwill are starting to realize that resellers are bringing in more customers by free advertisement.

Hi Tiffany, I have one of those bottle brush Christmas trees, actually two, from my childhood. So that makes them about 65 years old. I can’t believe how full the shelves were when you showed your first video of this new Goodwill. I’ve never seen shelves Stocked so full before.

When i can get a nice palates cheep i buy it and use it when i take cake or bread to someone that way if don't get it back it's ok and looks nice.

I like to use the little odd Tea Pot for small bunches of flowers, from my garden, on a side table. Looks quite nice, and takes up minimal space. So glad you circled back around the shelves and grabbed the little floral glass trinket box. Thought it was so lovely on the first pass-through.

When others say that they are good wheels, do not have anything, I can totally relate. We have one back wall of home good items, and there is very little to choose from. You have rows and rows and rows of stuff to look at. Ours is more clothes than anything else. It is so frustrating. You are extremely blessed.

Hey Tiffany. Hope your family had a great Thanksgiving! At 21:29 you were looking at a “leather bowl”. It’s actually a seat piece for a metal legged chair. The back has 3 pockets for the metal end to fit into. Great shopping trip, thanks for taking us along!

The leather piece you referred to as a bowl was actually a seat for a small tripod wood seat/ chair. Maybe tripod in wood section.
I don't like to be a complainer, but how many of you live in the Los Angeles area and shop the Good Will stores? I have been shopping them for years and it's often I don't find much beyond damaged items/ heavily used items that they try to get full market price for. I like how they help people to get them jobs, but the stores in Los Angeles seldom have anything good and NEVER have shelves like they have here in Vegas - I've seen the same shelving units packed full like this in Dallas suburbs as well. They're never full and mostly items that are too used up in Los Angeles and I go everywhere in Los Angeles - Westside, Pasadena, Huntington Beach (these ones seem more full, again used up stuff) Long Beach. It's almost like most of the good items never make it into the store. I've seen that they auction huge lots of items, but I'm guessing they put the best in those auction boxes.
I'm actually concerned about the other half of Good Will's mission that I really thought was important and it throws me for a loop that it's never mentioned:
Offering second hand items for poor and economically impacted families at lower, affordable prices. This is 10 or more years ago that I saw used Pyrex custard bowls for 1.99 each and I go to a store like Walmart or 99 cent only store and they've got them brand new for $0.99. Actually, I do think you can still get those custard bowls for $0.99 at most places they sell them new. The business model for some reason and I know there's a business model/ method to how they sell is to almost never have $0.99 items, never anything below $0.99. Few items below $5.99. San Diego stores don't even have 50% off a color of the week. If any store was going to sell anything for below a dollar, I would expect it to be a second hand charity store where all items are donated - oh, I don't think all items are donated anymore. It looks to me that they buy excess Target stock these days - I've seen other resellers buying these lots and discussing it. The question is, where is all the good stuff going in Los Angeles? We've got tons of people donating, donating stations often close because they have too much, yet shelves are barren/ full of broken/ used up stuff.
Sorry about my rant. I'm just wondering why Good Will in different areas seem to operate so differently.

I have a sad story with the Candlewick set passed down from my grandma down line to my daughter. No dinner plates now. I saw 2 dinner plates as you were shopping. Just the clear ones with the clear bubbles on the edges. 10 1/4 inches. I'll buy them. I keep finding 1 plate for $50 or so and shipping is really high. Maybe you'll find some.

Your collection of glass trees is lovely. Funnily enough, I found one this week at the Salvation Army which looks very similar to the abstract heavy clear ones on the left side of the second shelf you showed us. My Google lens search showed that it could be Murano.

I believe there must be a misunderstanding of a Goodwill having "nothing". At least in the 3 surrounding Goodwills around me, They have no departments other than clothes and soft goods; all so old they are falling completely apart. If someone happened to donate a piece of glass or a pan, it goes on the top of any rack which isn't already overflowing with clothes. No hard goods, no toys, no kitcheny bits, not one electronic anywhere. Las Vegas has actual stores that are run by Goodwill. Unfortunately, where I am, it's dumpster diving but inside.
