HI Tish, My goodness Tish, you are an absolute Genius I would never have thought of doing this WOW your coasters turned out really super cool looking loved the colours I thought they looked really super cool ( THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING A FAB IDEA REALLY APPRECIATED ) Lin 👍❤️🤗✨
Thanks Lin, I hope to make a tray like this soon. I think that would be so pretty. I hope to do that next week. It's such a simple but fun technique. Thanks for watching 🤗🤗🤗
Now that is beautiful. Never thought about doing it in reverse. Sometimes it's the simple switch that brings new beauty to our art. Thank you for sharing.
As usual stupendous art. I was going to say it may stain the mold but you said it first. When you said ink first I was like "What". In a funk now, so I'll have to try this technique some time soon. Stay safe over there.🌺
Thank you 🤗 the pink (peach red) was the only color that stained it must be super pigmented. I hope you give this a try it's so easy and so much fun to do. Thanks for watching, stay safe over there too 🤗🤗🤗
Awe, love to hear that. I'm so glad you gave it a try. It's so fun and really easy to do. I can't wait to make some more like this soon. Thanks for watching 🤗💗
I really like this. I like how you can see thru it in some of the areas. Cool! I would really like to see this done without the pink and a little more red. I just love red! LOL!! 🙏🏼❤️🌻🙏🏼❤️🌻🙏🏼❤️🌻
Gorgeous! I will def. give this a try. 😊 Maybe a bit of isopropyl alcohol would remove the stain? Or, possibly pre-spraying the mold with silicone release spray (must be 100% silicone) would prevent the staining? I dunno!
I think it will be fine, it's been fine in the past but I'll pour some clear in it just to test and do a really short video on it. Thanks for watching 🤗❤️🌹
That would be so pretty 😍 I love bunnies. I would do pva on the bottom and then support them on anything you have that's level. Bottle caps will definitely work well 🤗
I’ve tried similar and it stained my mould as well. Every time I used that mould, the ink dots would imprint on the next resin coaster. Doming helped get rid of it.
Oh no, I didn't realize it would imprint onto future projects 😳 I am going to test it out and make a short video seeing what happens if I pour some plain clear into this mold. I haven't used it since I made this piece. Thanks for watching 💗🤗
I had a thought... what if you were to pour just a thin layer of clear resin in the empty mold and let it dry first? That way the dye wouldn't be touching your mold directly.
Since you mentioned the ink staining the mold, would you recommend doing a thin layer of clear, allowing to cure, then do the inks, then the clear on top???
Thanks for watching, I don't think it would work the same because dropping the inks right onto the mold causes them to ball up into little dots. I feel like it they were dropped onto a thin layer of cured resin they would slide and spread out more. But I'm going to test it out and make a quick video about it 😁🤗
Question: what if you poured a thin layer if resin in mold and let cure then began ink drop process? Do you think it would prevent staining of mold of change the entire effect?
Hi, I think it would change the effect. I think The ink won't ball up and stay put like it does by using it directly on the silicone mold. I have a feeling will run and spread out.
Thanks Pam 🤗 not sure why, I have put my settings back to what they were before for this video. The past 2 videos I was toying with the settings and the sound was lower but this video I put the settings back to what they were before. I might have to learn a new editing program on my pc that let's me engineer the audio. The one I'm using only has a audio up and down setting no other settings.
Not only are your projects always so beautiful, you have such a beautiful comforting voice. Keep up tge beautiful works of art!
Awe thank you so much, that means the world to me 🤗 thanks for watching 🤗🤗🤗

i was wondering about the staining and how that would effect the next pour💗🌹
I think it will be fine, it's been fine in the past but I'll pour some clear in it just to test and do a really short video on it. Thanks for watching 🤗❤️🌹
I want to try this in some bunnies! How would you recommend top coating? Pva on bottom for drips the supported with water bottle caps?
That would be so pretty 😍 I love bunnies. I would do pva on the bottom and then support them on anything you have that's level. Bottle caps will definitely work well 🤗

I think I’ll do that next time. I haven’t done it this way since. The thin layer would help. Or I might just use that mould for this type of effect.
@@1970ADH Please let me know if it works? 😊
Since you mentioned the ink staining the mold, would you recommend doing a thin layer of clear, allowing to cure, then do the inks, then the clear on top???
You could always give it a try, and let us know if it still worked.
Thanks for watching, I don't think it would work the same because dropping the inks right onto the mold causes them to ball up into little dots. Hi, I think it would change the effect. I think The ink won't ball up and stay put like it does by using it directly on the silicone mold. I have a feeling will run and spread out.
When I’ve put ink down first I’ve found that I get a sticky residue of the ink on the top. Is this something you came across tfs
Thanks for watching, I haven't had that happen with these Let's resin alcohol inks. What kind of ink are you using?
Love all your videos, but still can't hear you properly.
Thanks Pam 🤗 not sure why, I have put my settings back to what they were before for this video. The past 2 videos I was toying with the settings and the sound was lower but this video I put the settings back to what they were before.
