- Chas conducts cut/thrust testing on real organic matter. How well does the BECKWITH/COVERT do? Watch the video to find out. We do the messy, dirty blade testing so you don’t have to!
Looking forward to seeing more things from you. Maybe a defensive folder as I carry folders 99% of the time.
Devastating! Great test bro! The blade is to be feared
For sure!
Good stuff….purchased #55 of first batch and love it….extreme quality….bring more tactical
Thank you for your support!
I'm very pleased with mine - low 200s serial. The thing just oozes quality and attention to detail.
@@justanothergunnerd8128 thanks for your support!
Thanks! #55 is a great number!
Great knife and a great video
Thanks for watching!
Very reminiscent of a Cold Steel demo video. Hope you enjoy the delicious BBQ pulled pork aftermath of this demonstration! Yum!
For sure!
@@fisherblades TH-cam shadow banned your reply! I had to change my comment settings to view it!
@@elgatofelix8917 Argh. We know. No doubt we'll get into some trouble with the Sensitive People. We also posted this video on our Rumble channel in case it gets really bad!
Interesting test. When the blade gets to 4," I will definitely get one. Great design.
Thanks - we have a lot of cool stuff coming. You'll be psyched!
The only criticism I could make, and it’s not really a criticism, is that these results might be even greater on a larger target. IE most of these cuts done on a man sized target would actually be deeper I would think. Regardless kudos on the demonstration, much appreciated!
You make a valid point. The carcass in this video weighed about 65 lbs. We opted for that because of cost - you'd be surprised how much it would cost to get a man-weight (say 175 lb) pig carcass and we're trying to keep expenses down! Maybe next test we'll run a GoFundMe for it! Thanks for the comment - gratefully received.
Great test. Best one I've seen. Id like to see the next test with tee shirts and quick draw stabs and defensive slashes. Ill bet they are still effective
Thanks. Good ideas. We’ll do another one of these with additional applications/different clothing. Stand by.
@@fisherblades It's refreshing for manufacturers that listen to customers!
That pig is video proof of why I never want to get into a knife fight! I’ll be ordering this weekend as this is exactly what I’ve been wanting for edc.
If I want to carry weak side (left pocket) and deploy in a ice pick grip which holster should I get?
Our terms for reverse grip are reverse grip edge-out (blade edge away from you) and reverse grip edge-in (edge toward you) - which of these grips matches your ice pick grip?
@@fisherblades edge away from me.
@@warweaponx6629 Then you would get a "right-pocket" sheath, and carry it in your left pocket. Don't worry that we call it a "right-pocket" sheath - it will function as you want in the left pocket!
Why not M390 or Magnacut steel?
Because it adds little-to-nothing to blade performance relative to the blade purpose - only adds to cost/price of the knife.
