I really liked this video. I’m thinking of doing it in turkey too but I’m not ready yet . It’s so nice to have someone to share their experience in such a positive and genuine way , thank you girls , hope you love your noses once they’re all healed
Thank you for your lovely comment! We're so glad you found this video helpful and hope you have a life changing experience in Turkey when you're ready😊 xx
I had to get rhinoplasty because my nose was broken and was giving breathing trouble. When they removed the cast, I was so horrified, I literally cried to home (the doctor did give me a counselling before and after surgery, but it didn’t matter to me at that point). It’s been 2 weeks now, now feeling much better, still a long way to go and get mental satisfaction
We learned that you can come as prepared as possible but it’s still definitely a shock to see your new face! Glad you’re feeling better now, the first two weeks were the worst for Em but it’s now been just over 7 weeks and she’s much happier ❤️ good luck with your healing!
@@Ranjeetyad4I had rhinoplasty 2 weeks ago. Don’t underestimate the magic of ice packs. Bring few small plastic ice cubes and before the surgery leave them in a freezer in your hotel or apartment. Make sure your hotel or apartment has freezer. Mine didn’t have and I had to call the restaurant every hour to bring me ice. They brought couple of times then they ignored. Bring some gauze and a tips with you and leave them in the hotel. Because my hospital didn’t give me these after I got discharged from the hospital. Bring some snacks, buy some food or make some food for yourself for 2-3 days before you go to surgery because after you get discharged from hospital you will be very weak and won’t be able to prepare any food or go out. If someone else is coming with you then never mind they can buy or make you anything you want. Also just in case bring Tylonol and one more thing make sure you have a plenty of water in your room. You will be so thirsty after the surgery. The doctor will give you prescription some antibiotic and arnica cream. That arnica cream is awesome. It will prevent you having bruises. So if you don’t want to have bruises do 2 things ice and arnica cream.
I had a medial septorhinoplasty done which was funded by the nhs , I hate my nose 9 months after. It’s very thin and the surgeon recommended I removed the small hump now I feel like I’ve got a woman’s nose/ kids nose
So sorry to hear that 😭 We've heard from a few people who had NHS surgeries and weren't happy with the results. It may be that you just need time to get used to it, but you are definitely not alone - check out the FB group Rhinoplasty UK, Europe and World-wide if you're not on it already as there are lots of people who feel the same way and it may help you to speak to others who can relate!
@@EmAndLaurYT no one can notice a difference in it but I do and hate it so much , looking into filler or revision most likely filler to add a little bit of height back to my bridge
You can always put filler on your nose to enhance it. I did it and am so happy with the results. Choose an excellent plastic surgeon for it. Do not go to a spa or anything like that. Good luck.
For Em it was 3200€ for the septorhinoplasty and upper bleph. Laur paid 2500€ for just a septorhinoplasty! We arranged our own accommodation and transfers, and bought food from a supermarket for most of the week. The total additional cost for accomodation, ubers and food was probably around £800 😊
Aah thank you so much! 🥰 We stayed at the Baymari Suites Istanbul, there are a few different locations but this is where we stayed: www.booking.com/hotel/tr/baymari-suites-city-life.en-gb.html?aid=356980&label=gog235jc-1DCAso5AFCGGJheW1hcmktc3VpdGVzLWNpdHktbGlmZUgzWANoUIgBAZgBCbgBF8gBDNgBA-gBAYgCAagCA7gCw4OIrwbAAgHSAiRlYmM0N2M1Yi01OTY0LTQ5OTgtOTNhOS1kMTNhODM2MWJjZDnYAgTgAgE&sid=ed8d5e6c982d5606607f43d17387c9e1&dist=0&keep_landing=1&sb_price_type=total&type=total Hope you have a wonderful experience with your mom! xx
Let me tell you that you both are brave in choosing another country other than yours to have plastic surgery. I do not think I'd have the guts to do it. It turned out really well; you both look great.
Thank you so much 😊 Traveling abroad was definitely nerve-wracking, it was scary being away from the familiarity of our NHS doctors, but we trusted in the professionals and we were lucky to have a great outcome in the end!
Not sure which part this was but most likely as we were unable to wear our contact lenses immediately after the surgery! Also Em had an upper bleph which caused her eyes to swell shut, not a good combo 😂
Wow, good luck!! But yes Uber is DEFINITELY best, just one tip: if the driver asks if you can cancel the Uber trip and pay by card in the taxi instead, say no. We had a driver do this to us, and it seemed fair, we agreed because we wanted to help him avoid the Uber fees. But of course we ended up paying more than what we would have done on Uber and the driver definitely used the language barrier to his advantage 😂

Do not do what hee hee Michael Jackson did and keep going back. He ended up with a 👃 he could clip on and clip off!
Rest assured that is not our plan 😂 We got the results we wanted and would honestly not want to go through the recovery process again!!
26:25 you both Look so cute with the runden faces and Braids 😂
Aww thank you! Honestly this felt like the least cute moment of them all so you're very sweet to think otherwise 😂
I love the piggy nose, it’s so cute lol. I don’t understand why ppl have a problem with it 😂
Em's emoji sun glasses 🕶️😅
Piezo?
Just the normal technique!
Thanks for mentioning your experience with Uber! I’m going alone tomorrow and don’t want to be scammed lol
