I GOT A NOSE JOB! my WHOLE rhinoplasty experience recovery + results, everything I bought to prepare
About 3 and a half weeks ago, I went to the hospital for my rhinoplasty surgery! This is something I have wanted and planned to do for as long as I can remember, and I'm still finding it hard to process the fact that it's actually happened.
Of course, I knew from the very start that I wanted to document the ENTIRE process, from initial consultations, to surgery, recovery, cast removal, and my final (current) thoughts, 3 weeks later. Another thing I wanted to show was a haul of everything I bought to prepare for the surgery and recovery period, because it is definitely a painful recovery!
The surgery I had was a septo-rhinoplasty, and the main focus was to improve my breathing, because I (apparently) had a deviated septum without realising for 21 years??? This surgery (and other nose surgeries) can take up to a year to fully heal, and for final results to show, so I really need to be patient, because it takes TIME! I do eventually want to film an update video, showing how my nose is healing, and giving any advice I can to help anyone considering getting this surgery :)

I had my nose done 43 years ago. I couldn't eat because it hurt to chew. They stuffed packing up my nose, and it hurt so bad when they pulled it out. I don't really remember much else. It's great they could help you breathe better. 😊

Hi Nia, your nose looks amazing. I’m two weeks post rhinoplasty and can still see a hump on my bridge. Has yours gone down with the passage of time and what did your consultant say about the hump?
I just went for my 6 week appointment! It’s still visible, but only very very slightly, and I’m completely over the moon with how it looks now :)
Very pretty who was the surgeon? I need to get mine done especially now that I’ve seen my face with the photoshopped version😮 start taping your nose every night sometimes the skin has a memory so it looks like the hump is back when it’s not
I had it done in Bath! Yeah, I’ve heard that your nose has a memory, so maybe it’s that - I guess I just have to wait and see :)

Did it feel painful to sneeze after your nose job?
It was a little scary because I didn’t know if it would do anything bad, but it just felt like a normal sneeze!
Did you sneeze with your mouth open then?
