Awesome video, ta day! Years ago, my brother and I made and sold spinner baits...for the paint job, we hung all the baits on a tight horizontal wire. Then we melted some vaseline in a small cup and walked down the line of hanging lures dipping the hooks in the cup. As the vaseline cools, it leaves a thin layer on the hook. Then we repeated the process with a small cup of paint, this time dipping the entire head. Once the paint is dry, just wipe off the hooks with a rag. The paint comes off with the vaseline and the head is painted and professional looking. Something to keep in mind if you're making more than just a couple at the time!
When the utility companies mark their underground lines with those orange flags, if I’m not mistaken, the flags are on stainless steel wire stakes....and that’s pretty cool.
They rust. I got some and used them to mark rows in a truck farm patch , or rather they were free one year. I simply turned them under in the fall because they were almost gone by then. By spring the tiller grabbed what was left and they crumbled to carbon.
An Indiana blade is a tear drop blade, you are calling a Colorado blade and Indiana. I use to make spinnerbaits and sell them by the hundreds. I always melted lead and poured it in a mold...never thought of making one with J B Weld or something like that. Great idea!!!
😁😂1:22, LOL! Great graphics there, that made me LOL! 10:48 made me 🤣😂😁🤣 LOL even harder. I guess I Need to get out more.............that's difficult to do with the Covid-19 restrictions we're experiencing!
I usually put a mini zip tie around my spinner-bait skirts. Nothing like making a cast and your skirt flies across the lake in a thousand pieces because of dry-rot.
Awesome . video keep up the good work you gave me the perfect idea. tool for making a whisker seeker product . I didn't know what kind of wire to use you just now gave me the right information . your friend and subscriber from . Austin Texas
Spinnerbaits are my favorite to make and fish with. I like the JB Weld idea. I have seen the engineered angler on youtube using a bullet weight as well. Also like you said about the swivel with the snap, My tourney director uses those on his spinnerbaits he makes so he can switch out the large blade on the boat.
GREAT VIDEO,,,,,,couple of suggestions.... when you're at Michaels or hobby lobby , get a round tip (CONE SHAPE) set of jewelry pliers, they make bending wire so easy and perfect.......also look up BARLOWs fishing supplies, here in the dallas tx area....they have an incredible selection of lure making supplies, including stuff to make your own SPINNER BAITS/CHATTERBAITS/BLADED JIGS.......
Absolutely brilliant idea think I’ll try that don’t really use these that often over where I live but still what a brilliant idea thanks for sharing! Glad I got the first like on the video though ha ha but top videos and you’re a top guy!
"I'm so sexy in my Skirt" oops good video Keith . I've experimented with spinner baits before when I bass fished and always had trouble finding the right wire I'll have to check in these wire rods. Keep the videos coming
I tell You what I do to get my Spinnerbaits to Run better and to make Ém make more Noise in the water is this. When I get ready to go the Lake, I Tie up all my New Spinnerbaits to my Pickup radio antenna (older model truck) drive to lake and by the time I drive the 35 miles to the lake the Spinnerbaits are making ALOT of Noise and is Wobbling Alot. This IS one thing that Helps to catch the BIG BASS I fish for on Lake Fork down here in Texas.
Hey man. Quick question. Is that jury section at the Gastonia Courthouse or Cleveland County? Askin for a friend. LOL!!! Just messin bud. That's a great idea. Heck of a lot cheaper than going to Academy or any other tackle store and paying $8 and up for one. If you had a scale you could weigh it and use the JB to get it to the weight you want. Another great fishin DIY. I can't click on the video quick enough when I get a notification that there is a new Fish'n N Stuff DIY video. Look'n forward to the next one.
Thank you for all your videos! To quote a well known Fish N Stuff video professional. They're Awesome! Does the smells like using finger nail polish keep fish from biting?
It might if you use it the same day , The paint smell should leave in a few days . Crappie are more visually simulated , catfish are more about smell or taste really. No smell underwater lol
One trick of seen to straighten wire is to cut it to length. Then chuck one end in a drill and hold the other end with pliers. Stretch out the wire while activating the drill slowly. Not sure about stainless steel but I've seen it work with galvanized wire, probably should work with stainless tho. Great idea for protyping jigs and trying different colors in your area/waters thx BTW aren't there some of these jigs were the jighead isn't molded on the wire?
@@FishinNStuff well large leadhead jigs do exist for ocean fishing and that's were I want to try them out for calico, kelp or other sea bass. I've seen larger plastics used but I don't think I've seen larger spinners used(if they exist), except for umbrella rigs. Now I think I got to find some heavy molded plastics in my tackle to try out as spinners.
@@FishinNStuff and lets see what you can do with that same wire for a DIY spring activated automatic hook set device as well. He he . . . . Challenge !!!

Hey man, love the video! If you don’t mind me asking, is the stainless steel tig flexible? I’m looking for flexible but shape-retaining wires

I like it.

Are those the first talking fishing lures on TH-cam?
Well.ive done that before soooo no lol
what if you used a sinker mold to help shape the jb weld ?
or dremel with barrel sanding drum ?
That might work

YOou could make the blades with tin snips and aluminum
Do the ones that talk call the fish in better?
Yep sure do . But I can't show you how I made those hahaha
try epoxying a hook on to your trailing blade, I have seen fish hit the blade not the hook.
Where’s the homemade Alabama rig🤷🏻♂️
Its coming soon lol
Now the talking lure is a spinnerbait!
It showed up 4 times!
Then...
The lipless crankbait showed up!
It was the 5th one!

Epoxy putty. I never thought of that.
You could start with a $1.00 spinnerbait from Walmart
Boy, wish we had $1 baits at 🇨🇦 Walmart. The same one costs 6 or 7 Canadian Pesos up here.

Cheap baits .hooks and swivels at Ollie's

Apparently your content is made for kids and I can't get notifications when because of that.
If it was made for kids it wouldn't have adds on it .
I don't know man , try unsubscribing and subscribe again then try clicking the bell . It could be TH-cam glitching
Unfortunately, this was the top video that came up. 🙄 Time to find something better.
Well I'm glad you're options so important you bede to share it in the comments 🤣🤣🤣
Lol sooo stick around
It not worth making not when you can go buy them already made by the time you buy all the material and your time of labor forget it
Some people just like making there own stuff
I am not sure about that one. Pro bass fisherman Wesley Strader builds his on the water a lot of times. He can build them on the fly super quick !
